Carus Dental: Regina Jensen, DDS

I was in severe pain and was turned away trying to make an appointment to be seen. We (family of six) have been been going to Carus Dental (Longhorn Dental) for several years and denied the appointment because I owed them $158.00 . I paid down our balance from $600.00 but my payments were not fast enough for the business office. Perhaps I wasn't there best customer but I know I wasn't their worst! It turns out I had a cracked tooth that needed to be extracted. A new dentist took me right in and has a state of the art facility. The dentist at Carus are fine but if you find yourself in pain one day you may also be turned away. This was at their Round Rock office more

I have been going there a year now and have had outstanding service with Dr. Kervin Hoffman. Not sure what the fuss is all about. I also hate to go to the dentist and I am picky so for me to rate them high is an exception. more

I finally got some dental insurance and decided that I should get my teeth cleaned and go in for a checkup. I usually don't get checkups (maybe once every couple or three years), but I do believe I take good care of my teeth, brushing and flossing. I went to Longhorn Dental because they were close to my house. The dentist was ok, I suppose. Nothing spectacular. However, I do believe that she unnecessarily told me that I needed to get my teeth cleaned in two different sessions. It might just be my non-dental professional point of view, but I don't believe that the hygenist did anything over those two trips that she couldn't have done in one. At the first cleaning, the hygenist actually spent more time chatting with the office staff (with instruments in the air while over me, not in my mouth) and going to look for her stuff (purse, etc) than she did in my mouth. The next trip, she did more, but I believe that the total cleaning could have been done in one trip. I think I will try another dentist next time. more

I went to Longhorn dental for a cleaning, and was treated like one of the masses. I thought the office was just acceptable, and my husband needed to go to, so I sent him afterward. He got stuck in traffic, then finally found it and showed up 3 minutes late, and was told that they couldn't take him. They told him to take a seat and they would take him if they had a few minutes, and after 3 hours he tossed his paperwork back at the receptionists who were ignoring him, and told them to toss his insurance info, he would never use them again. Very poor service, and they were very rude. more

I have a fvorite dentist at longhorn dental off of bee caves. His name is Don and he is the greatest. I have had alot of rude dentists and this one is so friendly. Not only that but this place is a great facility to go to. Fairly new and very clean. I had to have a moler pulled recently and this dentist pulled it for me. more
