My husband and I LOVE to go to Carter Brother's for a cheap date night. The food is wonderful and the prices are even better. If you're in the market for BBQ or ribs or a good burger or chicken- this is the place! They also have good breakfast! more

Best desserts around 1/5/2009

If you like good Bar-B-Que followed up by homemade dessert then this is the place for you. The strawberry cake is the BEST!!! Can't go wrong with any of the desserts because they are all homemade. Yummy! more

I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and they offer lots of choices so everyone should be able to find something they like. Their desserts are great and the prices are very reasonable. I could eat here everyday if I could afford it! more

If you're in the mood for BBQ, this is it!!! 5/12/2007

We were furniture shopping in High Point and looking for a good place to get some local BBQ. We were fortunate enough to happen upon Carter Brother's, which has excellent BBQ and french fries. I highly recommend the Texas Q sandwich and strawberry cake. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Pros: Great food and service Cons: Limited parking. The restaurant is a converted Wendy's, so ambiance was lacking. more

Great barbecue 6/26/2006

If you are looking for atmosphere this is not the place to go. The Lexington style barbecue is delicious and I like the round hushpuppies which are a little different from other barbeque places around. They seem to have a sweet taste where as some other places have a not so sweet taste and are shaped long and slender. We have found this restaurant to be a little busy sometimes and hard to get a seat. We do not care for the ribs as well as those that you find at places like Chilis and Ruby Tuesdays. The prices are very reasonable. The desserts(cobblers) are delicious and freshly made. At busy times you will find the parking lot packed and a wait out the door. Barbecue is served on paper products. PROS: Good barbeque,great price CONS: Atmosphere more

Main Street food at it's best 11/16/2005

Another local restaurant that is still a little different from it's North High Point sibling. Same great food and prices, but a little bit smaller and quieter. Homemade desserts are ever changing and the banana pudding made me smile! more
