Honest? Yeah right!!! I took my car to Carsport for suspension work. I was told I needed to replace a major part with an elaborate story to go along. I gave the go ahead they charged me over $1,000. Later I found out through another repair shop the quoted part had not been replaced a simple work around fix had been done by Carsport with a $10 part shown to me in place on my car by the other shop as evidence. That should have cost less than $150 for parts and labor and they even did that wrong. Honest? I wouldn more

Okay Car Sport has really good pricing compared to the dealers and I noticed that they stay busy, but I had a really bad experience with them. I took my car there to get a timing belt and water pump done and when I got my car back I noticed a few wires loose meaning they were not put back where they were supposed to go. The place where the air filter goes was taken apart and not put back together I also noticed that somehow they cracked a piece of plastic that was covering the radiator. After getting my car serviced there I all of a sudden noticed that my car started leaking oil near the timing belt area and i magically developed a leak in my radiator. It was not doing that before i brought it to them but I cant blame that directly on them because it could have been time for it to go, but that was very ironic. The only thing I can fault them for is not putting my car back together right. When I brought the car back to them they told me that there was no oil leak and that it was only leaking coolant when I can clearly see that it is oil. In my opinion I feel that they just didnt want to confess to that the reason it was leaking oil from the timing belt area is because they failed to place seals there properly. If they didnt take the time to car about my car I doubt they will care about yours. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. more

Jimmy has always been trustworthy- I have taken my car there for just over 10 years. Always honest, and crazy fast. Give them a try and you will be sold on them. Pros: Jimmy and Emmanuel are very good people more

Only mechanic in Katy to trust. He will stear you right. I took my care to one of the car wash spots on Fry and was told I needed to purchase a whole dash bord panel (700)becaseu my air controller was not working. I took it to carsport and he sold me a 7.00 part. Thats it. nothing else. more

Carsport is one of the few auto mechanic facilities that really look out for their customers. They will tell you whats wrong with your car for FREE, they give quick notification of whats going on, and their prices are reasonable and no off the charts. If you live in the houston/katy area I recommend you bring your vehicle here. Pros: Everything that matter: Price, Timeliness, Reliability, etc. Cons: They can get a little busy sometimes, but that just prove how good they are more

My Aunt had a problem with her car last week. Since she lives in the Katy area it was too far for me to help her. To her luck we found Carsport through a good friend of ours. I told her exactly where the address was and she was able to find it so easy by herself. When she went inside she told Carsport that her old Pontiac was acting up. The service-oriented staff said ""No problem we'll take a look at it.."" After about 10 minutes the woman behind the counter ever so politely said "" Mrs. Hallmark? Your car just needs a battery and it will be done in a few minutes."" My Aunt got her car back not only in better condition ,but they didn't even charge her. They said ""the battery was under warranty and you're free to go."" Man when my aunt told me this about Carsport I was amazed. I am a 20 year old female. I take my car to carsport for my regular oil changes and any other dings or clicks my car has made. They are very trust worthy and have great people running the place. I was beyond surprise to read the above review because she must have went to another CARSPORT! Not the one that is fair priced, family owned, and has trust worthy people. A friend of the family recommended carsport to me and my family and now we can not stop bragging about them. All my family and friends go there. The people who run the shop are friendly and nice. They are very honest. I have gotten a light bulb but on my car and I wasn't even charged. I recommend this shop just because i am a woman they didn't take advantage of me. They also have a woman working the counter. that makes me feel confortable.
