I have been going to the Carousel Lounge for years and always have a good time here. Their bands are very "Austin" and the cover is never too much. They only sell beer and wine as far as alcohol, but do provide drink mixers such as Coke if you happen to bring in your own liquor. (There's a liquor store next door, so it's actually quite convenient.) It's also a great place to people watch as you get every type of crowd in here. It's almost a dive bar, but not seedy. It's just fun.
