Dr. Petracca is not a nice man. I've heard that gyns in this city often have a rather cold bedside manner and it's hard to find someone sympathetic and smart. I chose Dr. Petracca because he would accept my insurance and I needed to see someone fast. Bad idea!! I wish there would have been a review out there for me to see. That's why I'm writing this now for you :) Beware, Petracca treats patients with thinly veiled hostility. Recently, at my new Gyn's office (she's amazing!!) I heard from a nurse practitioner who used to work for him. She also said he was mean and treated his workers like slaves. As a patient, I found him to be condescending and insulting. Shop around ladies. There are good Gyns out there and Petracca is not one of them.

Cons: mean, only accepts insurance for certain procedures, cramped offices
