Rowdy, Crowded and Cheap! 8/23/2005

Its a tiny restaurant disguised as a boat. You'd be lucky to get a chair, which is probably why there are so many carry out orders. Nothing fancy, just fried and boiled seafood. But thats the charm of it, its not dressed up or disguised. The oysters on the halfshell are good.. the beer mixed with hot sauce... its the house drink.. is really interesting. I think its called a michelata? No fuss, just beer and seafood.. yum. more

Great fun!!! 8/2/2005

What better place to eat seafood than on a boat... a prend boat that is. My kids love this place and when asked where they would like to eat often say, "the boat!" and we know exactly what they mean. The food is wonderful and the staff is fun. We love watching they shuk oysters and ring the bell when a big tip is left. There is not a ton of seat, so the wait is sometimes long, but worth it. more

BEST Seafood 7/7/2005

This is THE BEST place to go for seafood. Their prices are perfect. Their portions are fairly large. They have crab, crayfish, catfish, shrimp, and some VERY tasty Gumbo. The restaurant itself is very inviting, its in a shape of a boat. You can sit there and see the chefs cutting oysters, and the chefs in the back cooking up your meal. The service is great, and very fast. Sometimes its hard to get seats at this restaurant its so busy, and the food is so good. I'm actually drolling writing this review. more
