Every time I come to Redlands I go to The Caprice and I have yet to be disappointed.
The staff is professionally cool but in a good, easygoing way. And the food is great!
Last week I had the lamb/chops that were to die for, so succulent that they melted in my mouth. The tapenade that went with them added the salt and acidity needed to accompany the pronounced taste of the meat.
This week I had the herb gnocchi for starters, very nicely done with the sweet squash confit. I followed up with beef short ribs that were set off with a touch of horseradish, again a good idea.
The only complaint I have is that the helpings are so large that I have never made it to the desserts....
