Got Auto Parts 5/4/2012

I went there today to see whether they had lights for my infiniti. Being a woman and not having a single clue about tools and car parts I asked for help. ""Luis"" the self employed young man there helped me take the parts out. He was quick and he charged me a reasonable price. I recommend Luis to anybody who can't or doesn't want to take the parts out by themselves. --I didn't give them 5 stars though, because both times when me and my mechanic called they said they didn't have the parts. I had to trust my gut to go and check for myself, fortunately I was lucky because Luis found all the parts I needed. They gave me a discount and told me I can return the parts if they don't fit. Hopefully they will fit. Overall for someone like me who knows nothing about cars and couldn't handle the tools and didn't want to go out of town to find a junkyard it was the perfect place. more

Never go here unless your looking for a fight!!! 1/6/2012

I'm hispanic and this is what happened to me when I went to CCAP to get some parts for my mustang with my father and cousin. My father went in to ask to see if the car was still available and they told him yes, gave him a map, and told him to go to the top of the hill. We then drove to the top of the hill with the tool box in the back of the truck. I then got off the truck and told my father which parts to get off the truck since I am on crutches. Then this tub of lard showed up in a large Bobcat/Loader yelling you can be here, get off my property with that truck, move now, get off the property now, move, move now. I looked at my father and said did they tell you we can 't drive up here. He said no and we kept walking. The tub of lard moves about a half car length up and he starts yelling everything again. I, stop, told him do you see me moving, you see I'm on crutches, do you see me moving, do you seem me walking, and my father tells him you don't talk to me like that, you better learn to talk to people and we start getting pretty upset when the tub of lard starts saying. I'm sorry can you please leave, you can't be up here, and you can't be here. My father told him that's better, that's how you talk to people. We then drive off to the parking lot. Then my father and my cousin take tools into a back pack and go back tot he top of the hill and start removing some bolts when the same tub of lard comes back up the hill in his Bobcat/Loader and the only thing he has to say is ""I ain't scared of ya'll"". It wasn't to apologize, say can I help you, or even is there anything your since your here to do business. No, he wanted a fight. My cousin told him then get off your Bobcat. Come on down. The tub of lard does what he does best and sits his big ass on the Bobcat and moves on. My cousin and father pack up and begin to leave, even knowing I needed a whole exhaust, because they didn't know what he was going to do next. I am so glad I am on crutches cause I know what I would have done when that tub of lard came back the second time. You get one star since I have to put something. Otherwise you would have gotten nothing, not worth the dirt on my shoe you fat piece of lard. more

Ugly Junk Yard with rude staff members 11/25/2008

Ugly Junk Yard, yes I am talking about ""Capitol City Auto Parts,"" there are plenty of other junk yards please try and avoid this ugly junk yard unless all other junk yards do not have your part in stock. They try and rip you off by over pricing thier old parts. The attendants are something else, they are like old women sitting around and pointing at each other, laughing and ignoring customers, as the customers wait in long lines just to be put on hold. They then act like they know what they are talking about- it is obvious they just make stuff up. As I only went there because I needed a stereo for my car, I had allready had a qoute from them for about $50 I said I would return for it the next day because I needed to cash my check. So I return a day later and some goofy looking guy that looked like MR. Rodgers told me that they did have it and before he even looked it up on his old computer from like 1984- Lol probabably not that old but you get the picture. So any way, he looks up at me and says ""yea we have it it will be $100,"" yea right, I syay you got to be kidding right? ""No,"" he says. So its not just the guy who looked like Mr. Rodgers why this place got a bad review over all it is a sad establishment. What I found truly hillarious was that they dont like to be called a junk yard. Boo hoo... and wny not? Thats exactly what they are, a ugly junkyard and not a very good one at that. Go to Express parts by Stasney and Congress, they are much better. more
