Why even have a showroom open to the public if the business really only wants people to make appointments? I went in to look around and nobody could be bothered to help me. And it wasn't just me - I saw the same treatment for a couple who came in after me. But my builder wanted me to go through them. So, when I made an appointment, I was treated like gold. It was a completely different, and enjoyable, experience. They also had a 40% off sale which priced their stuff at/just below Great Indoors.
However, when I called a couple weeks later about a question on my bill, nobody could help me. In fact, they had no record of my order...ever! So I told them they might want to find it or consider it canceled and good luck with that collection. Magically, I got a call back w/in 5 minutes from a manager who said the order was always right there. Really? Then why couldn't their own billing department look up THEIR order #, invoice # or customer info? It's a pack of crazy.
Done. Done and Done! Off to Lowe's or Great Indoors for the rest of my home lighting.
Pros: Great selection and knowledgeable sales staff
Cons: High list prices and absolutely no desire to help walk-ins
