I thought Cantu Movers did a fabulous job and provided a lot of value for the money. The movers were polite and had years worth of industry experience. They packed our items professionally and with caution. They were careful with our furnishings and were polite and on time every day! They provided me with great customer service from the beginning to the end of the move. I have moved many times and I thought Cantu did a better job than many national moving companies I have used in the past. I am an Interior Designer and I would highly recommend them to anyone. more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Cantu moving did a great moving job for us. Carolyn came to our house gave us an est. and we agred on the price. She return latter and gave us boxes. She was very nice. Movers arived right on time with a great attitude, everything went very smooth and efficiently. they even moved our heavy safe about 500 lbs no problem. we where very impressed. we plan to hire them again. they did a great job right on time. and charge us exactly what Carolyn estimated...We are happy. more

I do not have good things to say. Cantu was recommended by a friend, and I was happy with them BEFORE the move for the following reasons: Carolyn came to my house, saw what we had and gave us a real estimate per hour and then she also offered us a flat rate price. I let her know that it was very important that the move be completed quickly because we had less that 24 hours to get out of our current house (due to the purchase and sale time frames). We went with the flat rate because it was giving us more men and would likely therefore take less time (and cost ABOUT the same as the estimated per hour rate). more

This is a follow up to my previous review. The friend who recommended this company to me was quite embarrassed by the loss of my camera, so she spoke to the lady in charge. Well, it took some time, but they reimbursed me $100.00 towards the purchase of a replacement. The original was worth twice that at least, but since it was used I accepted their offer, and now have no more to say, except, I still wonder which one of those guys has my camera now?! Other than this issue, the workers were very good, so this matter is closed. Pros: On time Cons: One digital camera missing more

Even though they came early and all, the office staff had informed me that yes, they move upright pianos, and yes, second floor was ok, and yes, they had a special dolly just for the piano. a thousand percent i reccomend CANTU MOVERS. This was not my first rodeo if you know what i mean, as we all know moving is by far one of the most stressfull things in life. This was the smoothest of all from the first phone call to the delivery at my new place that still had wet paint. There was NOT one mistake including anything broken, scratched, missing ETC, like in the past with other movers....they also PACKED MY WHOLE HOUSE, and it was so well done, they labeled every box so i knew exactly what was in it. They packaged all fragile items with such care, i have never been more impressed by a moving company, the guys that moved me were great, the guys that packed me were amazing. Carol (the woman that gives pricing and answers the phones) helped me through this whole ordeal, gave me a great price for the service i got, and even called and checked on me. SO, IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR STUFF AND YOUR PLACE THEN USE CANTU, IT WILL ELIMINATE ANY ADDITIONAL PROBLEMS THAT MAY ARISE DURING THIS STRESSFUL TIME IN LIFE. We have used Cantu Movers many times for office moves and home moves. They have always been great! For this move, we also used their packing service. It made the move SO MUCH EASIER! I shopped around, and they quoted the best price, and stuck to it. Both crews were professional and gental with our belongings. I would recomend Cantu Movers to everyone, and I do! I WAS 8 MONS PREGNANT AND MS LEWELLING ASSURED ME THE COMPANY WOULD TAKE CARE OF EVERYTHING AND THAT I WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING AND IF ANYONE ASKED TO HELP ME LET THEM DO IT ALL...SO THEY MOVED OUR THINGS, STOLE OUR MOVING DOLLY, AND INSTALLED OUR REFRIGERATOR WATER LINE IMPROPERLY...A SLOW LEAK THAT TOOK DAYS TO NOTICE, BUT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO FIX...HARDWOOD FLOORS RUINED THROUGHOUT THE KITCHEN, FAMILY ROOM AND HALLS, WHEN I NOTIFIED THEM OF THE PROBLEM SHE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE SOMEONE COME OVER AND FIX IT, WELL THEY BROUGHT OVER SOMEONE WHO SAID HE COULDN'T FIX IT, THEN SHE SAID SHE WOULD GET SOMEONE TO ASSESS THE DAMAGE, AND SINCE THE PERSON SHE SENT COULDN'T FIX IT I WONDERED WHO THEN COULD 'ASSESS' THE DAMAGE, SHE TOLD ME IT WAS THE MOVING GUY--SINCE WHEN ARE MOVING GUYS PROFESSIONAL WATER DAMAGE AND HARDWOOD INSURANCE ADJUSTERS? I TOLD HER SHE NEEDED TO GET HER INSURANCE AGENCY TO TAKE CARE OF THIS, SHE SAID NO THAT I NEEDED TO.THEY ARE CLEARLY RESPONSIBLE, I TOOK IT TO AN ATTORNEY AND HE HAS SENT THEM A LETTER REQUIRING THEM TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED SO WE ARE SUING THEM.
