Cano, Lourdes M, Dds - Cano Family Dental

Do not go to cano. I am completely dissatisfied with the staff and the way they run their patient care. I was placed on hold for more than 45 minutes and I did not receive an answer from any competent staff member. They are what I call leachers to your insurance benefits. They over bill for everything. First my experience was with the dental side. After being seen by the doctor, her husband came in to try to talk to me into expensive treatment that I did not need. His attitude was ""Mira por eso tienes seguro"" (thats why you have insurance"")then he rubbed his finger on his teeth telling me that's how teeth are supposed to look. I went to another doctor at another location and felt the difference in treatment. Second both in the medical and dental side, you will hear a bunch of HIPPA violations. Just in the waiting room you will here the staff discussing in a loud voice your health issues and personal information. The same husband along with Debbie and the other front desk person discuss your business so loud that everyone can hear it. From the last time I was there I heard a lady's complete health issue, social security and date of birth. This is unacceptable. Third, when I was being treated in the medical side, the same husband walks around to all the patient rooms drilling them and asking them personal medical information. Overall I recommend that you stay away from this place. Now finally I want to discuss my treatment in the eye portion of cano medical and dental. They eye doctor was great and the staff to. But of course mr. Husband also walks over to the other side and tells you...""oye my friend why buy one glasses?"" Then he gives you a 15 minute speech of the importance of having two pair and that you should buy more than one. Seriously not only are the glasses expensive but mr. Husband still adds his two cents. HIPPA violations are a serious thing! And feeling like your being Nicole and dime is another. My advice is to stay away from this place. And my advice for the doctors at cano is to re-evaluate certain individuals roles and excess to individuals personal information. more

I completely agree with lopez95. These people are liars and thieves. I had the worst experience at Cano. My husband and I couldn't afford dental insurance at the time so we thought it'd be a good idea to try their ""medical/dental care"". Worst idea ever. Not only were we paying monthly but for each visit we were spending lots of money anyway. They did a filling for a cavity I had and I had to go back twice due to the poor job. My husband on the other hand needed more work done, but each time he went in we had less money and more reasons for him to go back. They even told him he needed braces. To make a long story short. We decided to check with a REAL dentist and in one visit, everything he needed was DONE....NO BRACES NEEDED EITHER. These people are taking advantage of those who can't afford dental insurance. They milk people for their money. Liars and thieves!!! more

this offices is the worse dental offices!!!THEY try to sell you a dental plan and they do not tell you the truth !!! feel like you are buying a car they take you money with out doing anything !!!i when for a basic cleaning and they did a lousy job !!the owner JOSE does not give his face when is a problem!!! HE IS A BIG PHONY!!! his wife dr.LOUDES!!! the biggest joke !!!ALL STAFF members are fresh out of school !!!i have nothing good to say about this office just be carefull this people are OUT to just to get your money !!!! The staff is soo rude! This is the worst place to go for any sort of dental service! They are liars and don't tell you the total cost upfront, I asked questions and they gave me the run around, until they perform the procedure. Then they leave you with no other choice then to pay. They should be investigated. more

Had an appt. for 9/22 at 12N. Arrived and office closed at 11:45 am. Another patient stood outside with a 12N appt. also. At 12:30pm we both gave up. Cons: Don't honor their appts. more
