The doctors & staff at Candlewood are compassionate and helpful every time I call. They have helped our dogs over 25 years and I always find them pleasant and professional when I need their help. If things are busy or waits are long it's likely because they are treating animals with serious injuries. \r Thank you, thank you, thank you more

Disappointed 8/23/2010

I waited to be seen for over an hour and I have been going to Candlewood Animal Hospital for 7 years. The woman receptionist was rude and being a loyal customer of theirs I thought they could just give me the drops for my dogs issue. They insisted I put my dog through the anxiety of a visit and chaos for me with 2 little ones. I waited an hour and saw the vet for 30 seconds to confirm he had what I knew he had and it cost me $54 for the visit and $31 for the drops. more

A New England Gem. I can not say enough for the time and attention they put into caring for animals. The office staff is pleasant, Doctors are awesome as are the technicians. They do a superb job with animals and their owners. more

Dr Maizel has been our vet since before he started in New Milford. We love him and Dr Jenny is a great addition. We love her too. They are great people and excellent with all our pets. Cats and dogs. more

Great Vets & Wonderful Staff 11/21/2008

I used Candlewood Animal Hospital for emergency surgery on my dog when she had ingested a rope chew toy. She was in a great deal of distress and very out of sorts and the staff was wonderful with her. They did an amazing job caring for her and she made a full recovery. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs animal surgery or just for regular vet care. more
