Fortunately I have two good friends in NY who are dentists . I took a trip up there and had them both check my teeth and they said all I needed was a simple cleaning. Several weeks earlier however, I saw Dr Cancio in Tampa and he told me that I had a gum disease that would eventually cause my teeth to fall out if left untreated and that I would have to pay him two visits which would total over a thousand dollars to treat the problem.... Needless to say I was worried and thought it best to get a second opinion. So thats when I flew up to NY to see my dentist friends. I recieved a simple cleaning and was told that afterwards my teeth were "perfect". This was several years ago and to this day my teeth are fine. No strange gum disease like Dr Cancio told me... I will NEVER go to see Dr Cancio again. What a con man! more

This was a horrible experience. Firstly this dentist does not know how to manage time or schedule patients. The wait time is horrible. Secondly, the staff and nurses are not very nice and welcoming in fact they got very angry if you asked them to do something. This office is really understaffed and the dentist and wait times are tremendous. more

I have never waited so long for a doctor. I spent only ten minutes in the waiting room ( where there were at least magazines) but once I was seated inside I spent over three hours for a general cleaning and check-up. One person would come by do something and then I'd wait for another person to do another part of the check-up. The check -up was ok... not the best I've ever had but not the worst. Just the longest. more
