University of Texas at Austin's campus computer store is located in the campus, very convenient to reach. They carry lots of software and fancy stuff. And the software is cheaper to students, this is a good news. I bought an ipod there, and got some student discount. I am very happy about that, because at that time ipod was hard to find in other store, and I got one from campus computer store. more

The place to go if you are at UT 8/17/2005

This place has a decent selection of the most important things students need. Did I mention the discount? Students will receive special pricing not only on Microsoft software, but also on Apple hardware including ibooks, power books, ipods, etc. They don't have a GREAT selection, but they are affordable and are located right on campus in the UGL (currently).. Check them out for software and hardware needs. more

Microsoft Stuff 8/16/2005

If you are a UT student, you definitely want to purchase most of your microsoft software here. They offer Windows XP PRO not some tuned down version for 7 dollars here. You need your student ID card though, or else they will not sell it to you. They also sell a limited selection of apple's and Dell computers here with student discounts. Their prices on the accessories are a little over priced compared to what you can find online. more
