I'm not sure what ""sadly"" is talking about in his/her review. This is a wonderful church, led by a very humble servant of God. Pastor Ken rightly divides the Word of truth; and does not seek to ""tickle"" ears. \r \r I have attended now for several years, and have not seen any sign of shepherding or spiritual abuse. I have seen loving, humble servants of God who truly care about the flock that God has entrusted to them. I have seen people challenged by Pastor Ken and his wife to live a life that would be pleasing to God. Pastor Ken is not perfect, as no one here on earth is (Jesus was the only perfect human who lived); but he is a godly example of a man seeking to follow God and serve Him faithfully. \r \r The music is out of this world! The praise team leads us right to the throne of God every Sunday! \r \r If you attend this church, you will be greeted and accepted warmly. Please come and try it~ more

Calvary Chapel OKC is a wonderful church family! If you are looking for a church that teaches the entire Bible, not some watered down ""feel good"" words, then this is the church for you! \r The review from ""sadly"" is sadly misrepresenting a great church, which is hard to find in Oklahoma. \r The pastor (and his wife) are God's servants, and give all they have to their flock. Just read Matthew 23 about the Pharisees. Abusive church, particularly the pastor's wife. Shepherding runs rampant there! If you want major headaches, uninvited intrusion into your spiritual walk and life, and alot of grief, then go and become a part. If you want to attend a fellowship of believers that truly know the grace of God then go somewhere else. Really too bad, good Bible teaching. Wish I could recommend it. Excellent teaching from the whole counsel of the Word of God. Very good praise and worship band and very friendly atmosphere. Church leaders are careful to not embarrass new comers - they only ask to fill out a card before they leave. They also view financial giving as personal act of worship and do not pass an offering plate, but rather receptacles in the back for you to give as God leads.\r \r This is a great church if you want to grow spiritually since they teach book-by-book and verse-by-verse. This church as all about being led by God and letting His Spirit grow His Church. Pros: Great verse-by-verse, expository teaching. Cons: I don't think it is appropriate to provide a 'con' for a church. more
