California Pools did a great job of renovating my pool and equipment. The quality of the work was very good, they let me know when they would be there and actually showed up, and the project was completed on time. more

Have always been kind of curious of how legit these recommends are...so I went through all of them. Sophia R 3/28/2012, Tatiana K 5/24/2012, Jana J 5/23/2012, Lance W 12/28/2012, David W 5/22/2012, April M 3/05/2012, and Cindi F 1/18/2012 all had the very same recommends on each of them give or take a few... Smog-n-go, Ecola Termite & Pest, Tires Unlimited, Kitchen & Bath Solutions, Huntington Beach Transmission, John Ellis MD Ortho, America Vision Window, Berkley are just some of them. Most if not all are not even in AZ. So, unless these people own houses here in AZ and they are all interconnected ""Friends""...it is kind of interesting. Just something to make you think a little before you give too much validity to these recommends. People get hired by companies to put them out there. more

Working with California Pools was a refreshing change from other pools companies we have worked with in the past. This is now our fourth pool and the experience was one of the easiest. Trevor was a wonderful first representative to deal with. From his design ideas to information that was the first I had heard of in some cases, I enjoyed the ability to have someone listen to what I wanted and then deliver it. We did solicit other pool companies, but enjoyed the servicve we received from Trevor. (In fact the company that built our last pool less than two years before "lost" us in the shuffle and then gave us an outrageous price that made us scratch our heads (Shasta)) He was prompt, answered our questions and got back to us quickly. From the beginning of the dig through the finishing items, California outperformed the competition. They did a fantastic job and took care of the little things even though it may not have been their obligation. That means a lot when a company stands behind their product. Too often companies forget that the customer is spending $30,000 which is a lot of money to a lot of individuals. When it is all said and done, a company that does the little things rates much higher than one that makes promises and doesn't deliver. Every person we came into contact with was professional, courteous and cared about the person on the other end of the phone or side of the table. We will make sure to tell all of our friends and family who want to build a pool to go to California Pools. Good value, good product and great service. What more could a customer ask for? Thank you for making the process so simple and I hope it gets warm soon because we can't wait to actually swim in it. (We finished in December and it has been too cold to do anything more than dip our toes in) If anyone ever needs to see one of your finished products, please don't hesitate to call. Jeramy Smith and his Father know how to run a company,I have done business with them for the past 12 years and they have always put the customer first. Quite refreshing in this day and age!!!!! more

I wanted to write a note to say thank you. Notes are always sent when something is wrong but rarely when something is good. From the beginning you told us you stand by your product and will do anything to make the customer happy and you did. I do have to say we have had some issues but you always handled them in a very professional manner and always did everything possible to correct the issue. Your company is one of the rare companies today that stands by its product! Thanks so much to you and your staff for being great to work with and helping us correct the issues we had. more

We just had a pool completed with California Pools. It was a great experience. We worked with Dave who is an awesome designer and put up with all our changes. We even made a change the day they were pouring cement and the company was very flexible and worked with us. It is a beautiful pool and I am looking forward to using it this summer! more

We were very pleased with the end product of our pool, but even more so with how quickly and professionally they managed the project. I've made a video from the start of marking the layout of our pool to the finished product. Dave, our salesman, for CA Pools was our first contact and he made us feel very comfortable by going over every detail about the company, pricing, time frame, and if there are any problems. He did not pressure us into signing any contracts and made sure that we were totally educated in all aspects. During our initial visit with Dave we were totally honest with him by telling him that we had other pool companies that we were getting appraisals on. He assured us that CA Pool's will do the best job for us. Within a couple of days Dave called us to let us know that he would be sending, via email, a 3-D rendition of our property and how the pool-that we wanted-would fit in. I was amazed at how fast we got the renditions and everything that we asked for was there for us to see. This is our first pool so we didn't know what to expect once we signed the contract. Once we made the decision to go with CA Pool's we had nothing but the best communication with Dave as well as the people in the office. Any question or concern was immediately addressed and we didn't get the runaround that many companies do. We often felt so good that we were being treated like ROYALTY. Every crew that came from knocking down our wall, getting the heavy equipment in the yard to dig out the earth, plumbing, wiring, steel work, making our steps & benches, holes for our umbrellas, pebbling, tiles, lighting I can go on forever, were remarkable and friendly. After using the heavy equipment a new crew came in to put up a brand new wall and also painted it with the same exact color that our entire area has. Every crew that came cleaned up after they left and were respectful when our dogs needed to go out and do their business-LOL. We would highly recommend anyone to CA Pool's and gladly show them our video so they can rest assure that they chose the right Pool company. Thank you so much Dave and Lisa for being there for us and to Dave especially for coming out many times just to check up on us and make sure that everything had met our expectations. We had our pool built 15 years ago by California Pools and have enjoyed it almost every day since. It is by far the best looking and working pool of any we know. more

I am a perpetual homebuyer and home remodeler. I love to get my hands on a fixer upper! Over the years I have dealt with probably over a hundred contractors and I can honestly say that California Pools is my absolute favorite contractor. They built me an amazing pool/spa/waterfall. The staff was always friendly and knowledgeable. Everyone at CA Pools from the construction coordinator, superintendent, and project manger worked together to make my project stress free. I had some very minor warranty items and they were out the next day to address. My backyard is the gem of the neighborhood. I would never consider using another pool contractor. more

Our experience with California Pools was terrible! Their employees and sub-contractors were very rude and disorganized. They had NO respect for customers or their customer's property. Our property was damaged, their sub-contractors showed up at unscheduled times and the communication with any of CA Pools employees was impossible. We do Not recommend this pool company to anyone. more

Glad someone had a good experience - I have never had a contractor that has defaced and degraded my property as much as Cal Pools has. Their subcontractors had complete disrespect and damaged trees, walkways, gardens, etc. And every time I brought it to their attention, they only response was ""We will talk to them about it"". Nothing was ever done and nothing that was damaged was repaired or replaced. 4 years later and I am still fighting them to do the right thing! more
