not fancy but some of the best food around 8/4/2005

Great cajun popcorn and frog legs, amazing etoufee dishes (shrimp, more crawfish), red beans and rice (which is much more than it sounds, loaded with sausage and spice), and sublime whisky bread pudding (the only dessert on the menu but don't miss it). Sit out at a picnic table over the bayou, get a pitcher of Abita or other great microbrewery beers... One of my favorite places around. more

A little bit of N'awlins 6/15/2005

That would be New Orleans for those of you that haven't been there - yup, its close, real close. Muffletta's, yup got' em. Even got gator bits, real gator bits. Poor Boy's are excellent, atmosphere is biker (really cool and fun biker) - bring the kids and have a stompin good time. Pros: Taste of N'awlins, Unique atmosphere, swampy Cons: swampy, crowded, Warm to Hot more
