One of Connecticut's best venues 1/30/2009

This is a really great little bar at the intersection of Crown and State Streets in New Haven. It also features indie folk, alt country, and punk rock music. Lots of great bands often only 5-10 bucks. They have no cover nights, too. Pros: great bands, drink specials, comfortable atmosphere Cons: small stage, but it adds to the coziness factor more

We've been here twice 7/2/2006

Both times we've eaten here, we've had a pleasant experience. Excellent food ! Worth the trip. We combined it with a visit to a few museums more
