Cafe Del Rio

This is one of our favorite tex mex restaurants in town. Every time we go here, I order the fajitas and they are great. They always come out sizzling hot and with warm tortillas. They alway get us chips and salsa as soon as they get our drink orders. If we order an appetizer it comes out very fast. The service here is great, I have never been here when the service wasn't good. The food is great the service is great what more could you ask for? They also have free ice cream too if you want some after you eat, of course I am always too full but kids can always make room for ice cream. more

I am not a big fan of Mexican food but I do love an enchiladas every now and then. My gf has been begging me to go to Cafe Del Rio so I gave in and went. She promised I would love it and the hot sauce. The place was great. We went at a very busy time on a Saturday night and the wait was about 15 - 20 minutes depending on where you wanted to sit. Once we were seated the waitress immediately asked us what we wanted to drink and had chips and hot sauce brought out to us. The hot sauce is great. It's not too hot at all which is perfect for me. I ordered my enchiladas and she ordered her fajitas nachos. She is really picky about what is on them and the waitress made sure she had it right. About 10 minutes later the food was out. My gf told me the plates were huge and I wouldn't finish it and she was right. The plate was larger than normal Mexican food places plates and the food tasted great. She loved her nachos and when she asked for extra sour cream for them the girl brought it right out. I had a great experience at Cafe Del Rio and I will be going back again. more

All I can say is that my daughter should look like a quesadilla. They made plenty of money on me for both of my pregnancies. This is one of my favorite places to eat. The prices are great, service is super fast and you get free chips and good salsa and ice cream for dessert too! I do have to say that the food is not as good as it used to be, but for $10-15 for my family of 3 to go and eat, you can't beat it! For such a large restaurant you wouldn't think service would be fast, but even at large tables, your food is out within 15-20min. more

If you're looking for great service and great food you've gotta check out Cafe Del Rio. The waiters/waitresses are extremely great. Even late at night! There food is just wonderful, its one of the best mexican places I have been to. Better than El Chicos, and I used to be a big El Chicos fan!! more
