Relief! 4/12/2009

I had serious issues with my neck and shoulder, and woke up Saturday morning practically immobile. I called in, expecting to schedule an appointment Monday or Tuesday, but they were willing to schedule a late appointment and saw me that day. The massage therapy was spot on, alleviating the stiffness and pain throughout my neck and shoulders. I would HIGHLY recommend them! Pros: Best massage ever! more

Great massage 11/12/2008

I went to Craig for some painful sports injuries, and he took the time to pinpoint the sources of pain in my neck and back. I already feel better. more

Brilliant massage therapist! 5/14/2008

"I came to Craig suffering fibromyalgia which is a very painful condition. Not only is he fantastic massage therapist, he researched my disease and focused his massages specifically to help me. I can't imagine going anywhere else - either for therapeutic massage or just a wonderful swedish massage. He knows so many techniques and is one of the few masseurs that actually has an enormous knowledge base to draw from! I see Craig every week and even when I just need something to stretch my muscles and relax or to invigorate me or to deal with the significant pain, Craig has the answer! Brilliant." Pros: so much knowledge and ability plus a helluva nice guy Cons: not one con more

Extremely focused, goal-oriented and results-minded therapeutic massage 5/12/2008

Craig is the best massage therapist I have ever received treatment from. While he cares very much to make the client's experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible, his singular focus is to use all his available tools and techniques to find and solve problems and help your body feel and function better. My personal experience involved two different problem areas: my ankle, and my back. I badly sprained my ankle, and Craig's attentive treatment enabled me to get back on the soccer field much more quickly than I would have without it. As for my back, the tighness in my lower back left me in in constant discomfort, and Craig provided a great deal of relief. He took the time to evaluate what was bothering me, was thoughtful about the likely causes and solutions, and was extremely focused on my particular issue as opposed to delivering a more generic massage session. He treated me as an active participant in the process, and I think the positive results (looser joints and muscles and about 95% less pain) were as satisfying to him as they were to me. In both cases, Craig used significant but tolerable pressure, and the emphasis was clearly on providing relaxing but very therapeutic massage treatment. I would highly recommend him to anyone, especially athletes and those who prefer purposeful, results-oriented massage. Pros: Skillfull, results-oriented and professional - a valuable personal investment Cons: City Parking more

The setting is lovely and calming, and Craig is always researching new and innovative approaches to his work. I highly recommend him for everyone from athletes rehabbing or maintaining performance to just those looking for an excellent relaxing treatment. Pros: ambience, professionallism, creativity more

A Massage Therapist worth traveling from Maine for! 5/10/2007

Having had experienced massages from Craig as far back as his being newly licensed way before he was CDF Bodyworks, I can honestly say that even then I was committed only to his treatments and would look forward to Boston trips to have them because they were that incredibly calming, peaceful and therapeutic, done in such a professional way that over the years has only increased in all these ways as his experience, continued education and commitment to clients' specific needs being priority has only made him, in my judgement "The Best" and look forward to my next Boston trip!! For someone who carries stress in my shoulders with aches and pains everywhere..I am always rejuvenated for quite a while. Only wish I could commute to Boston weekly....I'd be there for mandatory maintainance and making "myself" priority in the most tranquil environment at the hands of a most honest, kind and reputable therapist!! Diana Pros: Professional, integrity, skilled, ambience, committed, kind Cons: non more

Great hands, great studio 10/10/2006

Craig's massage is very intuitive. During the treatment he adjusted pressure and stroke to great effect. I would highly recommend his services. Also, the office space is very calming and his studio very quiet and private on busy Tremont. Pros: Intuitive touch, studio more

excellent massage 1/29/2006
