Incompetent, Lazy and Inept are the first three verbs that come to mind when I think of my community manager that trolls the property in search of violations to waste paper, ink and postage on in order to justify their existence... an absolute waste of dues. Apparently they don't understand that their purpose is the support and service of the homeowner's at large. Other posts that they one by one pick and prod at the homeowner's over trivial matter is a matter of fact, not opinion. I have methodically documented every single phone call and email regarding a particular matter with Camco and my property manager that will not take calls from residents, apparently has her calls screened by the secretarial staff, always makes sure that I get her "ill informed" assistant that routinely supplies inconsistent and incorrect information. Furthermore, she has the audacity to tell me what is and is not "proper" in terms of the chain of communication, when a situation that has escalated beyond her scope of authority has to be resolved by someone else after she passes it off on them. I suspect by the the lack quality content to the end that any correspondence results in the satisfactory resolution of any matter, that an illiteracy test is a job requirement or possibly nepotism. They are overbearing and cowardly and hide deeply behind the CC&R's relative to the HOA in question. Bottom line is that no matter what the question or issue, you will not get a quantitative answer or solution that amounts to anything more that a regurgitation of the CC&R's. They don't want to think because they don't have to think. Amazing just how quickly the President of Camco can "back pedal" when faced with being inducted into the KNTV "hall of shame" for HOA management and then just fire up a cigar and not do a damned thing about the underlying incompetence at his organization. Thank God they only have 12 more months in their contract.
