Butterfly High Lounge

A group of about 10 girls and I went to Butterfly High Lounge last night, since it was a bachelorette party they didnt make us wait in line or pay cover, they also gave us a 2 for one deal on champange. Dj was good, the club was busy. All the ppl that were working were really nice. I know I will be back for sure. more

To the guy below, the Yatra is a totally different entity than Butterfly High. I'm sorry you had a bad exeperience at the resturant but you should give the lounge a shot. This place is so hot! Sexxxxy decor, great place for grow-ups to hang out. Smoking hot bartenders, the GM is easily spotted and is a great addition to this bar. Saturday night we met Solange Knowels and a couple of pro football players. Check this place out! Where to start. First, we were the only ones in the restaurant on a Saturday night. Scary sign, but we stayed for dinner and drinks. The food was fine, not outstanding by any means. I could get the exact same for less cost with better service from a million other places in Houston. But more than the mediocrity of the food, the service was absolutely horrible. It was slow, unresponsive and inconsistent. The most ridiculous part is because of our service problems, the manager comped our meal. Sounds great, but a charge still showed up on my credit card - the card I first gave them for drinks at the bar before dinner. Once I contacted the restaurant regarding the mistake, I got passed to four different managers then finally the owner who denied the situation and refused to reconcile it. I would not recommend this restaurant and bar to anyone. Pros: None. Cons: Everything. more

This place is HORRIBLE!!! I will NEVER go back and neither will any of my friends!! I had a party here and everything went wrong! When I walked in the door I seriously thought I was going to get shot, I'm not sure who their promoter is but the crowd was SCARY. The management and the staff are THE WORST (with the exception of the guys working the door, they are the only ones that deserve to be employed.) Not only did they make my party a COMPLETE disaster but 3 waitresses got sent home in the middle of my party so my guests had to walk out of our private room to the bar, at the nearest bar there was only one bartender and she was clearly too drunk to do her job becuase it was taking nearly 20 min. to get a drink. About an hour before the club closed I believe they fired her and she was crying hysterically and yelling at one of the other employees. Also one of the waitresses that had been sent home misplaced my friend's credit card and it took them forever to locate it. Oh, and the room that we were in had no music in it most of the time, the speakers were obviously messed up and they would play for like a random 10 to 30 seconds off and on. The only good thing I have to say is that the place is decorated well, but its unfortunate that its not living up to its potential. Seriously don't waste your time! more
