If you want to go to hell buy a cell phone from Kama Wireless Sucks 7/5/2007

I wonder if the the Kama Wireless in Laguna is the same company that has opened up shop in the Eagle Rock Plaza at 2700 Colorado Blvd. Los Angeles. From these reviews it sure sounds like the same crew. Beware Consumers of Kama Wireless they will send you to hell and beyond. These guys, creatures I should say, are the worst lying scammers. If you are thinking of buying a cell phone from Kama Wireless shoot yourself, it will be less painful. There is no end to the dirty tricks and lies these guys will pull. They will sell sell you a cellular contract with a broken phone and refuse to allow you to return it. All that has been written here about them is true and it gets much worse. Kama Wireless violates every consumer law in the book and thinks they are above the law. They use strong arm tactics to intimidate the customer when they have a return or complaint. They will take your new phone break it in half right in front of your face, then say you broke it and tried to return it in damaged condition. I can't even begin to talk about the nightmare trauma I went through with the Kama Wireless Cell Phone Mafia. Do Not Buy From Kama Wireless They Are Criminals. I was stuck in a 2 year contract with a cellular company after Kama Wireless did a bait and switch routine and sold me a broken cell phone with the plan. When I tried to return the phone the psycho manager had a fit and accused me of breaking it. He then purposly dropped the cell phone on the floor, picked it up, the screen had cracked, he accused me of being responsible with one of his creepy salesman standing nearby nodding in agreement. My cellular company was no help because Kama is an authorized dealer but operates independently. Consumers need to be aware that these kiosk dealers are independent and not regulated. When you sign a separate contract with them, you must read every line before you sign because it is like selling your soul to the devil. Your wireless plan with Verizon, T-Mobile, etc. covers your service, the kiosk contract is for the phone and other things, like early termination, sales commission, etc., that will screw you. Go to a company store to buy your phone and plan. Kama Wireless should be shut down and their salesman put in prison for going along with this scam. In the Eagle Rock Plaza they have 3 kiosks, none of which say Kama Wireless, you'll find out when you see their name on the contract. They run a shill game with salesman moving around all the time to different kiosks. They don't take any returns but you won't find that posted or written anywhere. They tell you only a manager can take returns but the manager is never there because he is hiding in another kiosk. If you do happen to walk up to a kiosk where the manager is he will try to bully, harass and intimidate you. People I am not exaggerating, all Kama's salesmen are foreigners and it appears that the country they are from has no extortion or consumer laws. There isn't a low enough rating to give this bunch of hoodlums. Kama Wireless Sucks. I apologize to those kiosk owners who are ethical and straightforward trying to make an honest living. Kama Wireless gives kiosks a bad name and reputation. more

These People Will Cheat You! 11/26/2005

Kama Wireless at Laguna Hills Mall sold me a broken Scala 500 bluetooth wireless headset and then refused to take it back for an exchange or refund. I took the headset back, unused and with all parts unwrapped, only four days after purchase. Their own policy states that I had seven days. One Kama sales person told me "You should have brought it back sooner". These people were rude and unprofessional. The two men present said they had to call the person who sold the headset to me, and then he lied over the phone and said that he had opened the box in front of me and that the headset was fine. My wife was with me at the time of the purchase, and she knows that they did not open the box. I recommend avoiding this place at all cost. Just read the other reviews about them on this web site -- all negative! more

Kama Wireless Inc: has bad karma 8/11/2005

Kama Wireless Inc was a cell phone store I heard about. I hate that place. They did not give me a special good deal on my phone. I wish they had better service too. They made me get a plan that was more expensive and more minutes than I wanted and would fit me better. I had to pay extra for the phone I want. I would not recommend you going here because they may rip you off. more

Horrible Experience!! 8/7/2005

In my opinion, these people are liars and cheats. I bought a phone here a few months back, and I had not done my research. I instead, depended on the seemingly nice employee to help me choose a phone. I told him I wanted a simple phone, so he proceeded to show me a phone that would cost around $80.00. I would also receive a $30.00 discount since I was already a Verizon customer and was upgrading to a newer phone. I bought the phone, and thought it was ugly, but hey...I told the guy I wanted simple. In the next week in which I owned this phone, it died daily..and would not stay charged. It locked on my during a very stressful day in which I waited for a doctor to call me back with lab results. I went to the store on a weekday at about 3:00 pm. Nobody was there, so I had to go to another Verizon dealership close by. The helped me unlock my phone, and asked if I knew how old this phone was. I said I had just bought it last week, and they told me my phone model had been discontinued and I was ripped off completely. That phone was free several years back, and I had just paid over $50.00 for a bad phone. I was FURIOUS! I went back to Kama wireless, and explained my situation to the employee who was not the same man who had sold me this junk. He seemed clueless, and told me I could bring it back with the box for my refund. He had to okay it with the owner, so I couldnt get my money for a few more days. The bad news was I couldnt find the box. The box by the way didnt even fit the phone, and my manual which was written in Spanish was a xeroxed copy. I did return a few days later, and met with yet another employee. I explained the situation yet again, and this was one was so rude, I almost lost it in the store. I was told I could NOT get my money back. I fought with this man for several minutes over the broken phone that they had sold to me as NEW, and finally he made a phone call. He spoke to this person in whispered tones (RUDE) and then told me I could have $30.00 back only, since I didnt have the box. The box which was some random box and didnt belong with the phone anyway!! I was charged a $20.00 restocking fee. I truly think these people are liars, and they make their money off people who dont know any better. I did end up getting a MUCH nicer phone for WAY less, and Verizon refunded me $50.00 off of my bill to compensate my troubles. I hate this Kama Wireless business..can you tell??? more
