Director David Brodosi is unprofessional and sexually inappropriate to the extreme 10/23/2020

When David Brodosi directed the university library it was a totally sexually inappropriate environment. Under David Brodosi’s direction, the work atmosphere was extremely sexually charged and inappropriate. Many employees were allowed, even encouraged to view and download porn with and onto their state-owned university computers, during work hours. Conversations were often sexual. Director David Brodosi often initiates inappropriate sexual relationships, sexual contact, and sexual messages during university work hours, at the university. David Brodosi himself writes sex stories, and views and downloads porn during work hours on his state-owned computer. David Brodosi then sends porn to female students and employees, using his university work email. David Brodosi also sends female students and employees his self-authored sex stories. David Brodosi requests his female employee call him on the phone, and read his own sex stories aloud to him, as he masturbates. This is completely disturbing. USF has such lax sexual harassment rules, and protects their own employees so they do not get bad press. USF has had so many sexual harassment cases, it is listed as one of the worst schools for sexual harassment. Director David Brodosi is unprofessional and sexually inappropriate to the extreme. more

Journalism School 7/28/2006

From what I have witnessed, the University of South Florida provides an excellent education. I have read a great deal of literature from the school paper "the Oracle." The students at the university are putting forth a great deal of effort and it shows. Good writing, good editing, good paper. Keep up the good work over at USF. If you or your child is interested in majoring in journalism, they have an excellent program and lots of good ties to the local Tampa newspapers and TV stations for internship opportunities. more

crap, its all crap 4/29/2006

so far my experience at usf has been nothing but horrible. i cannot say that they have done anything right for me. some of the professors i have had have been excellent, but that is only a handful compared to the countless others who are terrible and don't even speak English well. my program especially has problems with this. The school is all about research, and not much about education. I cant really say I have enjoyed my experience and would not recommend it to anyone seeking an engineering degree. more

USF 3/29/2006

USF can be a really great school for certain majors. There are a lot of advantages to USF from the pretty low in state tuition to the good location. The Ram Charger is also a nice benefit for students who live near campus but either dont want to drive or dont have cars. This school is really developing and hopefully will only be getting better as time goes on . more

University of South Florida 8/21/2005

The University of South Florida is an accredited four-year University. They have a good variety of Bachelors programs available, as well as Masters programs. The In-State tuition is very reasonable, and they offer many opportunities for financial aid, and scholarships. They also offer many opportunities for their students to become involved in the University such as: sports, music, special interest clubs, and many more activities. It is located in the heart of Tampa and it is relatively close to beaches, parks, and very close to Malls. more

University Of South Florida 8/16/2005

A hit and miss school; either whats provided is excellent or horrible. Professors range the gamut of course, as is expected from any college. Primary problems arise in the form of raising tuition, renovations for buildings that don't need them, and a continuing lack of parking space (as well as a continuing lack of concern about it). There isn't really any tightly knit on-campus community, as somewhere in the range of 85% of students are off campus. This isn't too much of a problem, except the traffic in the area is horrible. The bottom line is that thus far, the education provided is fine and pushes you to work hard, its all the other problems that have nothing to do with your education that will bother you the most. more

Growing University 8/7/2005

The University of South Florida is rapidly growing and is the largest state university by student population. Although the tampa campus is slowly becoming more of a 'residential' campus and less of a commuter school, they still have some room to go. While USF doesn't offer the same student life as the university of florida or florida state university, it does have several residence halls, a football team, and numerous clubs. The cost of attendance is an excellent value compared to other non-public institutions. more

Good Public School 8/5/2005

Both my wife and I completed grad school at USF, and my completed her undergrad degree there as well. It's mostly a commuter school, with a surprisingly large student population. The quality of the professors varies widely, with most being a couple of notches below what I experienced at a top notch undergrad school. The price is a bargain, and like most schools the value to you is largely dependent on what you put in. more
