Brings in big names 11/11/2005

The Phoenix Art Museum has brought in big names, such as Monet. The Monet exhibit was professionally designed and well planned. The art museum provided guided tours, which allowed art newbies to gain additional insight to the paintings. When the Phoenix Art Museum isn't hosting one of the most famous exhibits, they have a decent collection of up and coming Arizona artists as well as other famous painters. Comprehensive art museum 8/15/2005

This art museum is a must see for any Phoenix resident. Its collection boasts many well known pieces, as well as some obscure. However, while it is not a large museum, it often brings in some excellent exhibits, such as Monet and Degas. It is a first class experience and a great way to spend a hot summer afternoon. more

Good museum, not a wide selection 8/3/2005

I attended this museum on one of their "free" nights and it was a good experience. They try and add some Arizona art history into the museum and have new exhibits and up and coming artists displayed. A little disappointing if you have been to other larger museums in the world but I think it's a good museum to get a taste and to just appreciate art. more
