Good local pub 2/18/2010

I love this place. My friends and I come in every Sunday for their comedy nights. We have ALWAYS had friendly service and good food. I love the wings and pizza. Finally a place you can go enjoy local entertainment, and not have to open the wallet too far.. Pros: Cheap beer, friendly service more

Crystal is rude!! Makes up her own prices!! 1/26/2010

Horrible service!! We ordered well vodka and soda with a like. She brought me an orange greygoose with no lime and charged me $3 more than it should have costed. The she called us bitches from behind the bar and talked shit on us until we went nextdoor where we got great service and cheap drinks. Crystal you are a bitch and I hope you get fired!! more

perfect! 3/10/2008

At least a decent dinner in SLC! I looked hard to find a non-franchised restaurant, and it's getting difficult to get a ""normal"" place: good service, nice atmosphere, and good food (which is I believe the point of going in a restaurant). And please not ""the best avocado-pineapple burger in the world-ever"" as you see all over the places... more

back to normal 10/13/2007

Went back for a show and decided to give the wings another try. Am i glad!! The wings are back to the way they used to be. Portion size was large and smothered with the amazing tasting sauce of old. Just to warn those who do not care for spice, these have a great kick. Wing lovers give it a whirl. Pros: great atmoshere, good place to hang, great wings more

Not impressed 9/28/2007

We tried this place out based on the good reviews. We ordered a pitcher of beer which was not cold. We did not get cold glasses either. We then ordered their pizza and wings special. The wings were dry and did not taste good. The pizza was ok but certainly not the best. The service was slow also. We probably will not be going back because I can think of a lot of other places that I would rather eat at. more

Great place to Eat, drink & kick back! 6/30/2007

We are from So. Cal. and have lived here 2.5 years. We are from the coast and so miss our neighborhood beach bars & Grills from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Moe's is a lot like the restaurants/bars we hung out at in our former So. Cal. beach towns and also compares to casual gathering places in our college town of Chico, California. in Northern Cal. GREAT burgers, fries, pizza...and waiter ""Josh"" made great dirty martinis! Also some mighty fine on the rocks margaritas. I am happy to have finally discovered a bartender who can make a good drink! Thanks Master Josh! Pros: It's All Good. Cons: Bathroom Deep Clean needed more

Avoid at all costs 1/17/2007

We had a bad experience here. Our group of 30 people was looking for a place for pizza. We discovered that Mo's could be a possibility and called them the day before. We were able to reserve space for our large group. This is because no one goes here. The place was dirty and pretty empty. The bathrooms were filthy dirty. Upon ordering 11 large 16-inch pizza for our group, we got 14-inch pizzas with just 8 slices each. It was very obvious that these were only 14-inch pizzas or maybe even smaller. They charged us full price for 16-inch pizzas. Some people in our group were still hungry as the pizza was not very filling. The mushrooms were from a can and many of the ingredients appeared cheap and not fresh. Upon receiving our bill the waitresses added a 25% gratuity to our check. We refused to pay this much for the mediocre food. The waitresses were also giving individual bills to people for drink orders and they were adding 25-30% gratuities to the checks. They were pretty much just putting down whatever tip they wanted. After complaining about the food quality, pizza size, and gratuity amounts the waitresses did absolutely nothing. They said come back and talk to MO during the day. We got no group discount, and had smaller than 16-inch pizzas. The pizzas were expensive. About $13 with cheese and $15 with 2 toppings. Considering that they were only 14 inch and toppings were from a can this was not a good deal. I would recommend not going here at any cost. There are many other pizza restaurants in Salt Lake City with much higher quality food for the same price or less. Pros: Good for groups because place is empty and they will have space Cons: Everything else more

Kids okay 4/18/2006

This is one of the few places where kids are welcome and you can have a few drinks, a good meal, and listen to great music. Not too many places like this in SLC. more

Hobo's 1/26/2006

Some friends and I always go to eat some yummy hot wings, fabulous pizza, and to enjoy music from unknown musicians from around the city. One night we were enjoying our pizza and wings and some homeless men came in and sat right next to us. Any other establishment would have kicked them out, but they were nice enough to serve them water. It was not a problem to us until they began to ask for money and were obviously on something. I think they should have kicked them out after disturbing us numerous times. Pros: great food, nice music, inexpensive Cons: run down, small tv's, lots of seating more

Great Friday Night Music 9/28/2005

Mo's has a good versitle menu for eveyone, and has some great music on Friday nights. There is a local artist that plays every Friday from 8 to 10 who comes up some great twists on old favorites, as well some of his own work. Usually followed by great duo from 10 to 12. Give it a try! Pros: Great Envirmont, Great Music more

Great neighborhood feel 4/3/2005

Moe's is great for a late lunch or a midnight craving. They are open late, and have just remodeled and expanded so there is lots more room to hang out with friends. The staff is friendly, the manager Paul is a sweetheart, and the wings should not be missed. Lots of local music on weekend nights and Moe's is in a great location. Pros: good inexpensive food, parking available, small patio more

great wings and pizza 3/26/2005

The pizza is excellent the wings are great. 5 cent wings between 4-6pm. Several choices for beer. The couch is great to sit in and free internet Pros: great tasting food, nice atmosphere more

Wings 3/11/2003

Finally, tiered pricing. Wings are .25/Each, .05/Each from 4:00 - 5:00. Unfortunately they are tiny, overcooked, and there is only one sauce offering. I must say that the sauce is soild...good and hot. You get what you pay for. Pros: Wing Sauce, Tiered Pricing Cons: Small Wings more

Prepare to be Underwhelmed 7/17/2002

In all fairness, the buffalo wings are respectably spicy, and the pitchers are reasonably priced- but that's as much praise as I can give Mo's. Everything else is pretty much a disappointment. Space is cramped even when there aren't many people there. The staff is far from fast or friendly. For my time and money there are far better places in the same area. Cons: Poor Service, Cramped more
