Jeremy on sales floor was outstanding. I think Jeremy knows everything there is to know about spas (thankfully, because this is our first spa). You had the product we wanted at a great price and the salesperson was very helpful. The only problem that the delivery is not a true installation and leaves things for the buyer to do like attaching the top properly and the wrong colored stairs were delivered necessitating a trip back to the store to exchange it which was not the stores fault but the warehouse who was out of the proper color. The electrician you recommended was friendly and postponed the electrical installation due to personal problems which is understandable but disappointing especially when it is so costly. Don't Buy From Here!!! 7/8/2010

I purchased a pool from Allied Pools in June 2010 after lengthy discussions w/ one in the sales dept. I walked in uneducated, just wanting a pool. I heard, ""We'll set you up w/ the installer, just get your permit"". I was quoted an install price of ""around $2500 for your type of pool"". The first quote I received was for $4850, then he returned my calls about 3-4 days after receiving mine-dropped him after my install date was pushed back for the third time (This was not an Allied installer). During all of this I run into permit issues w/ my county. Keep in mind that the pool was purchased w/ the salesman knowing my permit status-I didn't have one! But he said that was no big deal to get. Well I found out differently. In a nutshell, I have a 1.5 acre corner lot with no room, per the county, to put a 16X32' pool. I called my sales rep and told him of the problem. He said that he'd talk to the owner and get back to me. He never did, but I tracked him down to hear ""you can't return the pool"". He told me I could email the owner, and said that the owner only communicates through email. I emailed. His response...""You elected to purchase the pool at this time. No one forced you to. You could have simply got up and left the store"" This came after me questioning why I couldn't return the pool. I completely would have understood a 10%-20% restock fee, and this was a $12,000 pool. Nope. I got, and I quote, ""I will be as blunt as possible. We are not taking the pool back."" This was from the owner, David Murray. I'm thrilled David hides behind the email now-I can share his exact words. The bottom line is that Allied Pools' owner is greedy and only wants to kick out as many pools as he can, without providing any post-purchase service. I have to also mention that I thought it was somewhat funny that my sales rep had to call David for the answer to just about every question I had. He must be great to work for.
