Horrible customer service 5/23/2012

Bought a brand new battery for our Honda motorcycle last spring... Had it on a charger all winter, went to start it this spring and wouldn't start then wouldn't hold a charge after jumping and letting it run for a while either. Of course this was two weeks after the one year anniversary of purchase and can't get a returned call from Barry to discuss if there's anything they can do for us and the piece of crap battery they sold us! I wish I would have checked out these reviews before going there!!! more

Dont Go! 4/5/2012

i was also warned about going there, but i went anyway. Do not take your bike there, they wont take care of it, left it outside, dirty, even had bird crap on it. I admit I was vocal about the condition, but was told to leave and never come back. I wont, and everyone i know will not go there either, hope the hot tub thing works out. more

BEWARE!! 4/4/2011

I was warned against dealing with this company, however, I believe in giving people a chance. more

Worst Service Ever 7/23/2010

The manager on staff (I think it must be Al's son) was extremely rude to me. I own a new Yamaha bike and I like doing business with dealerships regulary instead of indipendant shops, but in this case, even though I live right down the road, I will never go back. Pros: I own and love Yamaha Bikes Cons: This dealership has the worst customer service I've seen. more

OK for Stihl Chainsaws 7/18/2010

I bought my Stihl Chainsaw at Al's. The price was fair, the service was good, and it was a 100% positive experience. I've heard terrible things around town about the motorcycle end of their business - sounds like maybe they aren't the best place to buy a bike, but for Stihl chainsaws I give Al's the thumbs up. Pros: Good chainsaw dealer Cons: Bad motorcycle reputation more

Lack Integrity 7/14/2010

They have no integrity. Go to Home Depot for your mower. Cons: Customeer Service more

Service 6/17/2010

I went to their shop to have my rototiller serviced because it was not functioning properly. I have owned my tiller for 4 years and have had them service it each year. I brought it to their backyard office and was unsure if any of them had a very good command of the English language. I never heard from them for over 3 weeks. I finally called them and they said they left a message. I didn't get a message and gave them a cell number to call. They told me the transmission was the problem. I asked them why and he told me to check my owners manual. A week later I got another phone call letting me know that they can no longer get parts for the transmission. Wow! a 4 year old tiller that they completed all the service on and now they can't get any parts for repair. Why? They don't know, consult your owner's manual. Why would I purchase anything from this shop again?? Cons: Very poor customer service more

very rude 4/20/2010

I was warned about Al's by a friend before I went there but seeing as they are the only honda and yamaha dealer in town I went anyway to test drive a bike. I was ignored by the counter kids even though I was one of two people in the store and when a guy finally came out from the back to see if I needed anything, I asked if I could test ride a bike. He told me they didn't allow test rides because people who purchase bikes already know what they want, implying that I must be a idiot to be bike shopping, even though I rode in on my motocycle. Well I am buying a new bike but it sure as hell won't be from Al's. Cons: bad customer service more

Rude, questionable service charges, untruthful. 4/13/2010

I'm warning you don't do business with them. There is something the matter with all of them. If you question a $99 tune up costing $262. they'll just keep your lawnmower and threaten to sell it. Plus they didn't even notice a flat tire even though we wrote FLAT on it. Amazing attention to detail. Desperate billing. Plus they are stark raving angry. I'd like to give this star a negative X10. Don't get suckered into dealing with them. Go anywhere else. Pros: Can't stay in stay in business long Cons: Horrible business, sickning customer service. more

No Nonsense 4/9/2010

Decent service Pros: Sincere Service Cons: No Valet Parking more

closed with NO notice 9/15/2009

I went to this shop on a Saturday and they were closed with no notice as to why. I later found out they went on vacation and closed up for Friday and Saturday with NO posting. Luckily I went to Mt Baker Moto Sports and got what I needed even though i ride a Yamaha. more

Excellent Experience 6/13/2009

I bought two bikes in August 2008. We have had all of our service done at the shop and they have done well by us. I tried to install some aftermarket parts and bunged up the threads, and they fixed it and installed them for free. When it took an unusual length of time for my windshield to arrive, they offered me a full refund and wrote me a check on the spot! Great service and nice people. Pros: Attentive and Helpful Cons: Smaller Shop more

Great Experience 5/30/2009

It seems most people only bother to post the bad. In February 2009 I requested a quote from the Honda website for a new Metropolitan. My request was sent by Honda to my closest dealer (60 miles away) which happened to be Al's Honda, who responded immediately by email. We then talked on the phone, I ordered it sight unseen and went the following week to pick it up. I found Barry to be very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. I then went to the Service Department where they were installing the trunk. Unfortunately, I do not remember the person's name in the Service Department, but he was nice as could be. He walked me through each and every detail of the scooter, answered all my questions and was totally patient, professional and friendly. I have full confidence in Al's Honda and their service people and have absolutely no qualms about recommending them. Pros: Courteous, knowledgeable, professional Cons: None, other than the distance from my location. more

dealer abused my friends bike before putting on a new tire. 6/7/2008

a friend of mine took his bike in to get a new rear tire put on. when he went back to pick it up he asked to have the old rear tire. The mechanics resisted giving him the tire. when i walked over to pick it up.. the tire was burnt off to the threads.. the mechanics did a massive burn off abusing his bike and left melted rubber all over the swing arm and undertail.. the dealer claimed no responsibility for this and basically told him tuff. get your bike and leave.... Dont anyone ever take anything here.!!!! theres enough bike shops around.. go there instead. Cons: abusive staff and unwillingness to make right more
