The Only Gun Store! 11/15/2011

Heritage Firearms has been the only gun store I shop at for years. The guys are freindly, knowledgable, funny and always willing to help solve problems. They are just as eager to give you a cold Dr. Pepper as they are to do honest buisness with you and the entire staff will do what's needed to make any situation right. Tom ,Mike and Ken have always been able to help me find a part or a gun or ammo, even on a last minutes notice. The guys at Heritage really go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy with their purchase and walk out of the store a little more ""gun-wise"" than when they walked in. more

Best little Gun Store in Texas 11/9/2011

After moving from the wonderfully oppressive state of California to Texas, I was lucky enough to stop by Heritage. From day one, Tom, Doc, Mike and Ken have been friendly and willing to share advice/wisdom about the purchases I have made - most through them and some through other sources. Regardless, I'm always treated fairly and with respect. For the service side, Ken has been a great armorer and guide, not only listening to my crazy ideas, but always having solid advice to help. He has done great trigger work and grip shaping on a few of my pistols (the ONLY place to go for Glock work!!) and I will be bringing many more to him in the future. He is fair in price and untouchable for his craft - you'd be gambling to go elsewhere. more

Trusted and Respected 11/4/2011

I am very comfortable taking any of my weapons to Heritage Firearms. The service is exceptional and each job is given the personal touch. They tend to your needs and give you knowledgeable information that I trust. Seeing how I rely on my weapons in my day to day life, trust is a big issue. I have been a patron of Heritage Firearms for years now, this is the best gun shop in Texas! Not only are they very helpful and can get you just about anything that you need, they have great prices. But their hidden gem is their gunsmith who works behind the sceen. Ken, is currently working on my third Glock grip redection and he does awesome work. There are a lot of LE who use him and even some of the Rangers. His prices are very reasonable - and the product is second to none! I consider him a good freind! Only in Texas! more

Friendly & Fair! Honest & Knowledgeable! 11/20/2009

I have bought & sold guns with Tom since I arrived in Austin about 4 years ago, from day one I was treated like family! These guys are the best! Tom and Dick know just about everything there is to know and they treat everyone right! I just can't say enough good things about them and Heritage Firearms. Whether you want to buy or sell, or just ask questions, Heritage Firearms is THE PLACE to go in Austin. Doc Pros: They always have time for you! Cons: sometimes really busy and you have to wait a bit more

I arrived before they were open (10:00am) and they invited me in anyway. They answered all my questions and gave me a great deal of information and education to help me make a good choise on a home defense weapon. Mr. Doak and Mr. Snell gave me less expensive and better alternatives to the Armalite AR10 series of rifles. These guys are the Best. They base their business on people rather than profit. Pros: Honest and Informative more
