Worst

Every night there is a charge to see all bands. Most nights it's $5 some nights$10. If you don't believe me go look at their webpage or myspace and check the schedule.

I love taking my dogs there to hang on the deck. Great staff, very friendly. The Pyr and Catahoula love meeting new people and checking out the view. Of course the Catahoula and I sorta fade into the background and the Pyr gets the attention and loves it. I don't get there as much as I would like. Maybe more this coming year. To the Dannyd34 guy that complained about the cover for the band. Grow up a little will ya. The music that these guys play, it's what they do. It's how a lot of them make a living and is not just a hobby. Give them a break, and a tip on top of the cover. If that doesn't seem fair to you, too bad. Get over it. more

Best live music in Austin!! 4/25/2009

THE BEST live music line-up to be found in Austin, no joke. You can go to One-2-One any night of the week and see a great band, guaranteed. (Except Sun and Mon when they're closed, of course) If they're playing there, they're good, that's the long and short. No cover - ever, great drink prices, awesome patio upstarirs, great sound. What more could you want? One of the few remaining quality, free, live music venues in Austin, by rights this place should be jammed to the rafters all the time, but thankfully for us, it's not - yet... I love this place. Pros: Great: bands; sound; staff; patio; drink specials, no cover! Cons: Hmmm, thinking... nope, none. more

BEST BAR IN TOWN, HANDS DOWN!!!!!!! 4/3/2009

If you are downtown and looking to hear great music, look no further than One2One. There is NEVER a cover and the bands are ALWAYS awesome. Friendly and helpful staff make you feel at home. Nicest and coolest staff around! On top of that (literally) they have a great deck with plenty of comfortable seating and a great view of downtown. Why aren't you there right now? Pros: amazing bands, great staff, never a cover more

Is this the best bar in this big town we call a city? Is their new rooftop patio/bar the chillest place to kick it with your crew? On nights when there's live music, is it not freaking fantastic? The staff and owners, are they not someone you'd actually buy a beer if they happened to be on your side of the bar? If you've been to The One-2-One Bar you know the answer to all of these questions isn't some much of a ""yes"" as it is a ""Hell Freaking Yes!"". And if you haven't been, you should check it out next time your downtown and find out for yourself. (oh, and by the way, for that rocking music, there's never a cover. Ever.) Pros: It's not the Warehouse District or 6th Street Cons: No stripper poles? (yet) more

Awesome ""neighborhood"" feel - even for out-of-towners 10/10/2006

I am from Dallas and spent a weekend in Austin a couple months ago. I stopped into One-2-One the first night I was there and ended up spending the majority of my weekend ""bar"" time at this one bar. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the clientelle are cool and open, and the service was outstanding - even at its most crowded times, I could get a drink. I highly recommend this place. more

I first went to one-two-one for a poker tournament. There were over 100 people in the bar and I had no problem getting a drink. more

Great Place!! 1/18/2005

If you feel like having a relaxed night downtown, this is the place to go...Great prices, great service, awesome hookah lounge and great tunes! The deli next door will even bring you food! What more could you ask for? I really enjoy One2One and will definetly be back! Thanks for the great times guys!! more

one2one Rocks!! 12/19/2004

Being in the service industry I need a place to unwind after work and one 2 one is one of my favorites. The tunes are always rockin' the poeple are cool, mondays you get free poker tournaments, and recently therer has been some sewwt smells of hooka tobacco in the air. There are some hotties behind the bar, and in the DJ booth as well as their ""regular"" clientel. Go check it out 2-night!! Pros: inexpensive, not sixth street more

Where everybody knows your name! 8/16/2004

One 2 One is my favorite bar! Why? Because not only is it awesome to just hang out by the window and people watch or meet your friends there for a couple of drinks or rounds of golf, but the owners rock! Destiny and Greg make the place more personal... it's not just some corporate bar where you get lost in a sea of faces... they and the staff remember your name and your drink! Hello! I frequent this bar at least twice a week. Pros: Inexpensive, Good People, Fun Atmosphere more
