I've been going here over 12 years with multiple cars. I've had good service and I trust them. What more do you want in a repair shop?

Glad I live near by 4/14/2012

Since moving here from another state less than a year ago, I have used Lambs on more than one occasion. Service has been consistently good, got a very good price on tires, rides when I need them, and help with my bill when I lost my job. As someone asked in another review, what more are you looking for?... more

Poor Service / No follow up 10/20/2011

Called Lambs on Monday 17 Nov as we needed a new tire for our car. We had called several places that committed to a 4 to 5 day delivery period. Lamb's said they could get it for us in 1 to 2 days so we asked them to order the tire and tell us when it arrived. more

Poor service - Go elsewhere 3/7/2011

In May of 2007, Lambs was asked to repair our Honda?s AC system which was not cooling. After replacing every major component and $1,886 later, they accused my wife of stuffing tissue in the vent and gave-up. How stupid can you be! more

Con Shop 6/10/2010

I have gone to this place twice - the first only because I didn't know any better, the second because I had no other choice. The first time I brought my car in, I needed to get an inspection because I just moved back from another state. It took them forever and the guy that inspected my car couldn't even look at me and told the other guy that I needed new tires to pass the inspection. And apparently, they only had the most expensive models available. The cheaper ones were going to take awhile to get. HA! I took my car to another place and got my inspection certificate without a problem. The second time I came in was when I had a legitimate flat and a bad spare. The next day, my ""new"" tire is flat again, so I had to call AAA back out. I have no idea why their lot seems to be always full. Do NOT go here unless you really have no other option!!! Watch Out! 5/13/2010

I had been using them a few years and liked the convenient location and the fact that they provide rides. I was recently warned that this location has a bad manager. I went in for a ""check engine"" light diagnosis but put off authorizing their $615 repair. I went to another auto service shop and confirmed that their diagnosis of a bad O2 Sensor was correct but got a much better repair price of $431. Lambs estimate showed $365 for parts, and the other shop charged $257. Labor was also much lower at the 2nd place. Cons: Can't be trusted more

Worse I have ever encountered 8/24/2009

In my opinion this is the worse repair shop I have ever encountered. I took my car in for a simple oil change and it would up costing me $250. When they rotated the tires (which I did not ask for ) they stripped one of the lug nuts and I wound up having to pay to replace the wheel bearings and the entire hub. I had been going to Lambs for simple oil changes for some time and every time I came in they were always recommending unnecessary repairs adding up to several hundred dollars. I do not trust Lambs and will NEVER go back again. Cons: Not to be trusted, incompetent more

Because I can't give lower than 1 star 3/30/2009

Instead of getting ""worked with,"" like the guy told me, I got worked. I took my truck in for diagnostic, which was supposed to be charged, but they ""graciously"" waived it (See other posts on their diagnostic test). After an entire weekend of looking at it, they quoted me $1600. I couldn't even tell anything was wrong. Either way, I told them they could work with my $400 budget by picking the most crucial repair. They couldn't do it. When I come in to pick up my truck, the ignition doesn't work. I can't turn my truck on!!! They looked at me like I had set them up and asked me half a dozed times, ""Are you SURE its never done that before?"" Duh! How was I supposed to have gotten my truck here in the first place!!! Oh and what a coincidence, the ignition repair that never showed up until it was under their care cost me, surprise surprise, $400! I got had. And to make matters worse, the guy still tried to sell me tires when I was signing the receipt. I will not be returning to Lamb's. Nightmare. Pros: Looks busy Cons: Read the reviews from all over more

insanely frustrating without much explanation 8/9/2007

I realize that businesses have hard times and busy days but I do not think that should be an excuse for poor service. I have been to this automotive center more than once simply because it's close to home and when I have gone, I had time to wait. However, unless I myself directly questioned someone about my car's status, no one would have said anything to me. Just recently I was in for a flat and come to find out needed some other work, which was believable because I was having problems. Today I had yet another flat, an extreme flat--it wouldn't hold air at all when I attempted to inflate it. I had driven it maybe twice since the work, had not run into or over anything, etc. I WAS TOLD everything was in good shape. I like to think that being a repeat customer and spending inordinate amounts of money would almost guarantee quality service. The ONLY reason I continued to call and constructively demand service today was because I was there the week prior. I feel like the ""insanely frustrating experience without much explanation"" is a constant at this establishment after trying to give them another chance. I do appreciate the ""final"" quick response but unfortunately that took waiting all day, having to speak irritatingly and explain my situation with a manager, and causing people to work past closing time. Disappointingly, I will NOT be a return customer in the future and will be sure to pass this message along to unsuspecting friends, family, or customers. more
