a lady customer has her car droped of by her boy friend and the escort has engine noise . i call him because that is the only number they gave me . told him that i would have to take the head of to fix the valve seat and valves. gave the est. for that and informing him that there might be other damage but would not know until the head was off. got the head off and it had damaged the piston so called and gave that extra price. it took him a while to get back with me. i suppose he was checking with her. finally got the ok with the 1100.00 est. which included piston and rings rebuilt head , gaskets, labor. car was done and she was notified by her friend. she showed up and said she was not paying and did not authorize the work and left. so she came after hours and picked her car up with a extra key. police said there is nothing i could do about it because it was her car and i did not have it secured in the shop. she gave me not a dime. all she gave was a bad review. i think she has done this before. she definitly taught me a lesson. i find it strange that her car was here for weeks and she never called about it . nice con job on me more

Great bunch of gearheads that aren't afraid to ""McGyver"" it when they can't find a part. They fixed my rare automobile up well, she purrs smooth as a kitty now going 70mph. The mechanics kept me well informed on the progress. The mechanics made minor engine/carb adjustments along the way (was not charged) that was not asked for but much appreicated. The labor prices were the cheapest I've paid for quality work and the parts were near fair market value. Pros: Low-key, Knowledgable, Doesn't need a "book" more

This shops accepts cars from third parties and does not get authorization from the owner of the car before performing repairs. Then they charge an exorbitant amount because you have to pay them to get your car or they can put a lein on the car. This way, if you pay, they make lots of money. If you don't pay, they get your car, sell it legally, and still make a killing. DO NOT GO THERE! Cons: prices too high, do repairs w/o asking, took five weeks more
