My experience has been quite different. I have seen many psychiatrists and Dr. Brown is one of the best I've had. I find him very compassionate. However, he will not coddle you. I like this about him. Should your train of thought stray from the subject matter at hand, he will bring you right back to it. He does not waste your time and money. He has a dry sense of humor which is not apparent until you get to know him. One or two office visits are not enough to see if you click with a psychiatrist. He/she will still be in the process of evaluating you.\r \r While I agree that the office staff is not as friendly, as in other settings, I am not there to see the office staff. In fact I feel that the less the office staff knows about me, the better. He also does not charge any more than other psychiatrists I have been to. Pros: Excellent Doctor. Tries to understand what your are telling him. Has great suggestions. Cons: Can be a little abrupt sometimes, but I have found that he is trying to get his thoughts together more

Poor bedside manner, not the most skilled in the city. I did not like him personally or professionally. I have since had much better experience with other doctors. Pros: easy to get parking Cons: bad bedside manner, didn't offer up to date meds more

I had a terrible experience twoce at this establishment. Unfortunately, every time I rate him, it get deleted....somehow. I guess I will just say Stay away from him. Pros: Billing Department Understood my frustration Cons: Receptionist was just as bad as the doctor!! more
