consistently great service for great price 8/6/2013

For my latest service I brought in my Honda to replace bushings on the control arm that the dealer chic just needed to be done. They quoted me for two bushings they said cneeded repair from visually inspection. I took to Effie instead and after disassembly he noted all 6 pushing needed to be replaced. He finished the job it still cost slightly less than the original dealer quote. more

My whole family and some friends take their vehicles to Effi's, we always know we will get only the work that is needed done at a fair price. I was actually in Utah and waited to get back to Houston so he could do the maintenance on my vehicle. more

Best auto repair experience! 2/7/2012

I've been going to Effi's Auto Care for over 10 years. Effi is reliable, reasonable, and really friendly. I feel at ease when I take my car to Effi's Auto because I know my car is in good hands and Effi takes the time to explain what's really going on with my car. I never feel cheated or taken advantage of at this shop, and I'm always very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices are. I won't take my car anywhere else! more

Amazingly acurate and honost!! 8/18/2011

I'm a student at University of Houston, and this is the second time since I started school that I needed repairs. Both times I felt Effi was upfront about what I needed to take care of quickly, and which repairs could wait for a later time. After my first visit my father, who is also a mechanic, double checked Effi's work and agreed with his recommendations. Since then it is the only place I go. more

Good and Honest 11/2/2010

I own a flower distribution company in multiple states and Effi's Auto has been handling the maintenance and repairs of my Houston fleet for 7 years. I wish I could replicate them to my other locations. Effi knows his cars and he keeps my fleet running. He is honest, fair, and good to my business! I highly recommend him. more

Worst Auto Shop in H-Town 7/26/2010

I stopped by this place because it is near my house and they removed all the oil from my car and then told me that they were out of the oil type that my engine required. He called and ordered the oil and I had to sit there and wait an eternity for the delivery. He also told me that I needed a repair that I knew my car didn't need. Do not ever go here. Effi will rip you off completely and tell you that you need unnecessary and expensive repairs. This place gets a big thumbs down from me. The other review must be a fake. This was the worst experience I have had at a auto shop. Pros: nothing Cons: The AC in this place barely works at all. more
