Very efficient installation ( less than 15 minutes) but also very pricey.$141.77 + 603.35 =$745.12! Requested a parts price and no response then asked to speak with the manager.....

When we recently discovered that we'd have to replace our oil furnace with a heat pump, we got bids from four heating and air conditioning companies--all of which were very competitive. In the end, we picked Blue Flame because Chase gave us the best deal. He also made the process of getting it done much easier than we had anticipated it would be. The crew that spent two days at our home installing the system--Luke, Josh, Darrin and Steve--did a terrific job of explaining everything and making sure we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the job. Each and everyone of them clearly took a lot of pride in their work. At the company end, Kailana was always gracious and made sure that we knew when the crew would be arriving and periodically checked in to see how things were going. Overall, we were very pleased with the incredible service we got from Blue Flame. We would definitely recommend them to all my friends. more

Trouble call by Eric 5/1/2017

Eric arrived on time. I had two furnaces with different issues. The vibration issue he found to be part of a bar-code label that had gotten caught in the fan rotor, throwing it off balance. He removed it, tested for vibration, then identified and described how to fix two places where items outside the furnace could vibrate against each other and amplify vibrations in the future. I have since placed insulation in both places. The second issue was with installation of an air ranger that replaced an older conventional filter. Eric redefined the thermostat warning diagnostic to more accurately define the condition, and assured me that there is no need for a pre-filter which the diagnostic had incorrectly identified as needing replacement. Excellent visit. more

Adam was early for the appointment, got right to work and had the problem diagnosed. He explained and showed me the problem. The most cost effective option is a new furnace; he presented various options for a new furnace without the sales pitch, letting me make my own decision. He definitely knows his stuff. I followed up with some second opinions. Their prices seem fair and the warrantees look enticing. I will likely buy a new furnace through Blue Flame and recommend them highly. more

Heat at last 3/17/2017

Our heater went out in the dead of winter and Blue Flame was the first to offer to send someone out right away. It was clear the heater was not able to be repaired. Adam was very patient with us and worked with us to help us decide how to proceed. We ended up ordering a new heater and AC heat pump. Blue Flame sent out a team of workers who were all so friendly and hard working. There were several glitches in the installation and they just kept working it until everything was done to perfection. The price was great, the service was excellent, and the heater works great. Can't wait to have A.C. this summer. more

New Furnace 2/13/2017

Ricardo and Robert installed my new furnace. They did an outstanding job. I could not have been more pleased. Very professional, answered all my questions, and my install went exactly as it should with no issues. I love my new Rheem furnace. It does a much better job than my old furnace. I would strongly recommend Blue Flame to anyone and everything was done to my expectations and the price was right. Awesome job! more

Furnace Repair 1/19/2017

Blue Flame helped us correct a very dangerous situation. One Sunday morning we smelled gas outside our house...after the power company confirmed a dangerous leak and shut down our furnace we contacted Blue Flame who had installed our furnace 6 years ago. Although he was the only weekend Tech available, Chris called to confirm he was on his way and visited us that evening. He confirmed a faulty exchanger which would most likely be covered under warranty. The next day I had the pleasure to work over the phone with Liz. After some checking she confirmed the replacement part was not available, had to order directly from the manufacturer and most likely would be 4 weeks until we had heat. Due to having children in the home and having extremely cold weather that week, I was very nervous. Liz assured me she would look into other options and contact me the next day. Although I wanted to completely freak out, I trusted her and followed my gut. The next day Liz called me as promised, said she found a replacement part which would arrive within the week. She also moved schedules around so that Chris could come repair our furnace as soon as possible. Within minutes of the 4 hour service window, Blue Flame called to confirm the part had arrived and Chris was on his way. He arrived 45 minutes later and proceeded to spend 3 hours replacing the exchanger and checking all exhaust to make sure we were safe again. Being without heat in the middle of a chilly winter was unbearable. Seriously. But thanks to the folks at Blue Flame (Liz and Chris), we are back up and running. Most importantly, I appreciate the honesty, the communication and the fact that I didn't need to completely freak out and lose my temper with folks to get some action. Thank you Blue Flame! I hope I don't have to call again anytime soon, but if I do, I hope Liz answers the phone and Chris is the Tech sent to my house. S. Selig more

Furnace inspection 1/19/2017

Eric W performed an annual inspection of our furnace this week. He is very personable, and knowledgeable of the products and had a very upbeat attitude. He was so very kind and answered all my questions. I will be asking for him to come back next year. I highly reccomend Blue Flame and ask for Eric W he rocked the job MC more

Furnace repair / install 1/16/2017

Our 30 year old gas furnace quit working on a Thursday evening. I called Blue Flame's number the next morning and was told they could have a technician out that day between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. Jack S. showed up at 1:00 P.M. . He diagnosed the problem as a defective circuit board. Got the furnace to function, and gave a quote on a new furnace. We came to a agreement, and he arranged an install date a week out. The next Friday Josh and Luke arrived as scheduled and replaced our old furnace with the new one. Everyone I dealt with at Blue Flame, office staff and technicians,was courteous, helpful, and took their time answering my questions. They called ahead to alert that the technicians were on their way. The install was quick and the work area was cleaned up. I was instructed on the use of the thermostat, and to call if any problems. I am very pleased with my choice of Blue Flame. more

He initially gave me a bid for a smaller heater than I had or than other bids I had received, but once they ran all of the numbers again at the office adjusted it to a bigger heater at no cost; I really appreciate the honesty there. Install was great; the two installers did an amazing job and were kind and courteous. more

The repairman was friendly, informative, and came on a weekend in very cold weather. Our furnace would not turn on. He was focused completely on his job, and before I knew it, my broken furnace was working. The furnace runs perfectly. I couldn't ask for more! more
