Love this place 7/17/2006

This is a must stop when we go into Downtown Melbourne. Food is excellent and Beer is cold. I like all the beer options that they have on tap. Food is awesome...some weird stuff...but soo good. If you don't have much money in your pocket...you can get an 18 cent soup....yesss, you can eat for 18 cents. After you can walk off your food and beer by antiquing and shopping up and down the street there. more

Meg's for great cheeseburger or steak! 4/16/2006

This was my fave in Melbourne for long time either for a burger or a steak. The price was right, and the taste was better than any I could find.. even for a much higher price. The evening can get a bit noisy and rowdy, so I prefer to go at lunch time. Great food, great atmosphere although recently the service has been a bit lacking.. maybe as they get more popular they don't have to try as hard? It more

Nice place 11/9/2005

I like going to Meg O'Malley's. It is a nice Pub in down town Melbourne. The food is excellent and the menu consists of all traditional Irish foods. The atmosphere is good but make sure you get there early because there is usually a wait but it is well worth it. If you in town you must stop here. more

Meg's for a pint and corned beef 10/26/2005

Great spot in old downtown Melbourne for beer and filling, tasty fare. Sometime crowded and a bit noisy... like any good pub. more

Wonderful Place 8/23/2005

This is hands down absolutely my favorite place to eat in town. The atmosphere is fun and the food is great. I love the menu because it is made up of Irish dishes. The staff is polite. Also, they have entertainment sometimes. Once I went there they had Irish step dancers. It was very exciting. more

Meg O Malleys is the greatest Restaurant EVER! 8/19/2005

I'm Irish, and Meg's has become a 2nd home to me. The special item on their menu is their Jameson's Cracked Pepper Sirloin, which is a top cut sirloin steak cooked to your specifications, served in Jameson's whisky cracked pepper gravy, carmelized onions, and fries. This Is probably their best item. They also have a full service bar and they have live events and music all of the time, always a treat to visit and always a good environment. Brevard's best restaurant indeed. Everyone should go to Meg's for a good time. more

Simply the best 7/31/2005

This restaurant was practically undiscovered for a long time. The food is to die for, and there's a great selection. The prices are really good, and there's a wonderfully fun atmosphere. It feels like a good old Irish Pub. You can get traditional put fair here, and lots of little bits of history about irish culture. The owner is super friendly, and very fun. They participate in community events, and they have catering available. you just can't go wrong. It's quiet during the day, and lively at night. more

Good Time Irish Eating & Drinking Place 7/9/2005

Meg's is a really fun place to eat or to get a drink. It's an Irish themed restaurant and bar, and the food is really good. My favorite is the corned beef appetizer things, they are great. All meals come with the ability to add on a cup of their good bean soup for 5 cents, what a bargain. Happy hour is Monday through Friday 4-7 PM all drinks are one dollar off. Ladies night on Tuesdays with live music. They also offer catering. It's a fun place but very crowded. Located in downtown Melbourne. The only thing we don't like is the lack of parking, and it's often just too crowded. On St. Patrick's Day they host a street party but very, very crowded. I would like to see them hire older people more, the staff all seem to be young. Some of their servers forget about you, and sometimes it takes a while to get noticed so don' t be shy about flagging someone down. Drink prices are high, many types of beer available more
