its a pretty good place, its a good price, they always have the newest movies, an the popcorn is excelent. the only problem is the seating, the seats are put in a terrible place, the rooms are very long, and they dont rise very much so if you get stuck behind someone with big har, you are doomed to miss the movie unless you can move to some other place in the theatre.. overall its a pretty good place though. and it also has some good arcade machines that you can play while you wait for the movie to start. more

i go here because i never have enough money to frequent the other theaters. they show great movies, nice sound system. but the popcorn stinks (literally) and it sometimes very foamy and stale. but other than that, it's great. i hope you don't get stuck behind someone very tall becaus you'll have to move. alot of the seats in the theater have recently been improved, which made me soooooo happy! i love gator cinemas!! woohoo! more

This movie theatre is kind of outdated in my opinion and the seating itself is pretty lame but at least they always have a wide selection of movies to choose from and everyone is pretty friendly there. They can be incrediably crowded at times though but then again a lot of movie theaters get that way as well. I dont usually frequent this movie theatre because of these reasons..however its not THAT bad. Overall an "ok" theatre. more

The best theater out of the two in Gainesville 8/17/2005

This is not the best theater that I have been too but it is the best in Gainesville. The seats are pretty decent and much better than the theater in Butler plaza but the price of admission is a bit high for students, I think. Parking is not a problem and seating capacity is OK. If there is a must watch movie that you must see then I would suggest this theater over the one in Butler Plaza. But if you can resist I would wait until the movie hits DVD and rent it and save a couple of bucks. more

Sucks 7/12/2005

The place is small and hard to find. The chairs are tiny as all hell and the theatres are small and cramped. The movies generally suck but it is really cheap so I guess you really do get what you pay for. Most of the carpeting is stained and smells bad and the staff is minimal and they aren't open that late at all. more
