Great restaurant.. 11/17/2008

My only issue is that they push the wine so much, which gets slightly old for a non-drinker like myself! The waitstaff is usually very courteous, but you will get the occasional waitress that dumps you off on other tables or never shows up for refills. The food is good, but the Greenfield location seems to be much better in quality. Also - watch out for the snotty blonde hostess. She's more frigid than polar bear farts. more

Good food 8/10/2005

Olive Garden has incredibly good food from their soups and salad to pastra dishes. the only problem is that for supper they tend to play a lot of games. Half of the restaurant will be empty but they'll make you wait in an effort to get you to try wines. Overall, the food is great once you get in. more

Olive Garden Racine. Great time 8/10/2005

My husband and I have had some alright experiences at different Olive Gardens but for some reason never really went to the one in Racine until about a month ago. WOW! I can't explain the difference we have found. The servers there, we now go once a week, were very attentive to us. I was surprised because at other Olive Garden's I felt as though we were 'bad' for having a refill on our soup or salad but in Racine they almost insist you do. I'm not big on wine but I do like the samples. The food has always been excellent. I really like going there. I wish the wait wasn't so long (we've experienced as long as 20 minutes), and the portions although large could be less money. (We pay about $30.00 for the both of us.) more

Okay Food for Bad Service 6/30/2005

Recently this weekend I had taken my boyfriend to The Olive Garden for his birthday. I was extremely excited because we've had very good service here before. Our waitress seemed very unfriendly and didn't ask us if we'd like to taste the wine sample as everyone else around us had. She hardly came over and asked if we'd like refills on our beverages and was very slow to bring us our drinks and breadsticks. When the food arrived it was only "average" in my bood. I was very disappointed with the money I've spent there. I will not be returning for some time. more

  • In Short
Established in 1982, this chain gained a following for its laid-back atmosphere and generous portions. Patrons settle into comfortable booths and tables in dining rooms with plants, artwork and décor reminiscient of the villas in the Tuscan countryside. Starters include scampi, sausage or pepperoni pizza, and several soup choices, as well as a signature seafood dip (crab, shrimp, cheese and marinara). Entrees include classics like lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo and chicken parmigiana. There are also "Garden Fare" options, which promise 30 percent fewer calories.
