Good Value 11/15/2006

One thing I can say for Baja Fresh is that they maintain excellent standards in all their stores. I first tried Baja Fresh with friends in San Diego who preferred it to Rubio's, and then enjoyed Baja Fresh in the midwest with Mexican friends who gave it their thumbs up for good standard Mexican fare, and enjoy the same quality in Fremont as in Bellevue. There's a wide menu to select from, with a variety of singlel menu items such as single fajitas for the light eater to combo plates for larger appetites. 3 different kinds of salsa (sauces) are provided that you can help yourself to. I enjoy the brown sauce - mole - (pronounced mo-lay) Service is fast and they bill themselves as quick and fresh, and not pre-cooked fast-food that's sitting under a heat lamp. Food is prepared only when ordered. All in all, Baja Fresh is "nothing fancy" just good value for your money for standard, pretty authentic Mexican fare. more

Not bad! 7/24/2006

I went to Baja Fresh today for the first time. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasently surprised. I got the Mexicano Burrito, and it was excellent. The tortilla was fresh, the meat was perfectly grilled, and the rice and beans were done just right. The price wasn't high at all, I was very happy with this lunch choice! more

Baja Fresh serves good food at affordable price. This is specially very good compare to a fast food restaurant. Their Flautas are very tasty. Usually it is not in their menu but you can ask for them they are really tasty. They also have lots of different kinds of salsa. Their Fajitas are very good. more

Great Fish Tacos! 3/24/2006

Fast food is fast food, but if you're looking for a good fish taco, try Baja Fresh. It looks relatively quiet in the shopping center shadowed by Sears, but the fish taco combo is wonderful. They also have a salsa bar with several different types of salsa. Try them all! The only thing wrong with Baja Fresh is that they don't have more locations around. Their location in Overlake is probably not the most high traffic place, so I hope they stay around! more

Reminiscent of Rubio's 3/17/2006

Anybody out there from Southern California? Well if so, and you're familiar with Rubio's fish tacos, you've got to try this place. The fish tacos are just as good as the famous Rubio's, only they have a salsa bar in the restaurant as well. Yes, it's a fast food joint, but if you like a good fish taco, this is the place for you! more

Baja Fresh serves up surprisingly good food at affordable prices. If you are looking for a wholesome, quick Mexican meal, give this place a try. Great for dieters, natural food enthusiasts, kids and traditionalists. Their is something there for everyone. We expecially enjoy the chicken fajitas and feel there as good as many of the more highly priced competitors in the neighborhood. more

Baja-est Quick Mexican Food 6/25/2005

Baja Fresh surprised me with it's reasonably good food. It has an array of different salsas from which a customer can choose, which is nice. They also have excellent guacamole. The con is, their taco shells are kind of soft and have a slightly strange texture. The beans also leave much to be desired. All in all, though, the meat quality is good and it's cheap and quick for take-out. more
