He made suggestions that helped me to choose the blinds that would look best in my home. He took care of the few minor problems that occurred, and even installed a drapery rod for me. When I made the request I thought I wanted draperies, but when he came out he had several different options of what I could do to achieve the darkening effect. He was very prompt in making the appointment and polite. He brought good ideas and ideas that would save us money. He actually saved us half the cost! We were able to use our Angie's List discount. He returned with the order completed within a week and installed them and cleaned up neatly. It was just a pleasure dealing with this man and this company. I would certainly hire them again and I will recommend them to people who need this kind of service. more

Brad was on time for the estimate. He was very professional, explained his product's warranty, took measurements. He followed up with a card thanking us for allowing him to provide us with an estimate and included a complimentary 30 minute massage with a local message therapist. Very impressive marketing! When we called to engage his services, he gave us an estimate of when the shades would come in and said he would call us and then set up an appointment to install the shades. The shades came in earlier than he had said and he came the next day and installed them. In addition, one of our other old shades in another room needed a slight repair and he did it free of charge. He was very personable and just an all around terrific workman. I highly recommend him more

We found this provider and we're glad we did. Other providers would not take our order for a plantation shutter for only one window unless we paid the difference to meet their ""minimum order amount."" But, happily, Brad was willing to work with us. He's prompt, courteous, professional, and all those other Boy Scout Creed adjectives. Couldn't be happier with the results. I called Budget Blinds and Brad Lewis in order to install window blinds in five windows. Not only did he do a wonderful job installing the blinds, but he also took down my old vertical blinds and carted them outside to a designated spot. He took care of details like spackling the holes in the wall from the verticals and upgrading a fixture on the blinds (at no charge). He obviously knows what he is doing so a customer can relax and leave it to a professional! Mr. Lewis was punctual, he even called to see if it was okay if he arrived a little earlier than expected. He had all the tools he needed for the job, was very courteous, kind and professional. I felt totally at ease the moment he walked in the door. I couldn't be happier with the job he did and I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. Lewis and Budget Blinds to anyone that needs this work done. more

It went very well, and we will definitely use him again for the other windows. We were most impressed with the excellent quality of his work, and with how hard he worked to save us money by repairing what could be repaired. We plan to re-do a few windows each year and so I know we will be using him for that work. Brad prides himself on doing the job right. He re-did some of the mistakes of our earlier installer, and only charged us $20 a window to replace old worn-out hardware. That, alone, made us permanent customers! more

I was remodeling a home and knew I wanted white shutters for the windows. Brad showed me the various styles/types, and I chose a type that I had been unaware of that had a very clean look without the bar in the middle that is normally used to open and close them. He measured all windows and said it would take about five weeks. When they arrived, he immediately called me, and he came on a Saturday to install, because he knew my home was finished, and I was ready to move in. He did an awesome job, and I love how they look. He cleaned up as he went, and I am 100% satisfied with everything! I would definitely use Brad again and highly recommend him to anyone. The price was very fair - I had eight windows of varying sizes. more

We had a terrific experience. Brad does all the in-home work himself, both the initial consultation as well as the installation. I really liked this part -- the same person in our home for the entire process. We were able to get an appointment very quickly, and Brad brought lots of samples for us to get ideas and to choose from. We discussed options (blinds vs. shutters), and Brad gave a thorough explanation regarding the pros and cons of each option. We were told it would take two weeks for the custom blinds to be made; they ended up being ready four days sooner than the original timeframe. Brad is very punctual, very professional, and easy to work with. His installation took less time than we expected, and the clean-up was perfect. He took the time to show us the features of the new blinds and made sure we were absolutely happy with the installation and the product before he left. These are custom blinds, and are not cheap -- but we also feel very confident that we bought a quality product that will last a very long time. We also know that if we ever have a problem, or want to get additional window treatments, Brad will provide top-quality service. I HIGHLY recommend Brad Lewis' Budget Blinds! more

I called for an appointment during the week and Brad Lewis was at my home that Saturday. He brought samples, explained the pros and cons of what I wanted and I made my choice based on his professional insight. His work is immaculate! My puppy was getting into midst of all the work that Brad was doing and not once did he complain--he stopped to play with the dog. Who does that? You will be so pleased with the work that Brad does--my daughter walked into my bedroom and asked, ""Whose room is this?"". The results were that dramatic. Brad's personality is such that by the time he is done you will want to invite him to Thanksgiving dinner. Oh, and being so pleased at the outcome, I ordered another plantation shutter for my guest room. more

Brad was great! He replaced 10 pleated blinds on very long windows. In addition, 3 of the older blinds that were in good condition were placed on windows that did not have treatments previously. One of the older blinds did have to be cut down, but Brad did so without complaint. The blinds were back-ordered, but Brad went to bat for me and managed to get them in a timely manner. They arrived with cords that were too short, and he came out an additional time to replace them. Brad is very personable, professional and quick. I will definitely hire him again if I need window treatments! more

From the first phone call to last of the installation this was a great experience. Brad was helpful, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service at a reasonable price. In today's world of less than stellar service - this experience stands out way above expectations. Brad provided blinds for nearly a full house of windows for my client who was going to be renting her house. We were under a time constraint and he responded quickly for a first appointment as well as expediting the installation. Brad made me look good and I appreciate it. We had recently moved into a new home and needed wood blinds for the entrie upstairs bedrooms, master bathroom and vertical blinds for the downstairs slider door in the family room. The home we bought already had the downstairs windows funished with beautiful dark faux wood blinds, so naturally, we wanted the new ones to match. We went on Angie's list and selected the top contractor for windows...Brad Lewis with Budget Blinds. When I called Brad to get estimates, described to him what we wanted, then gave him my home address, he told me that he had installed the same blinds in the exact same home we had purchased! Talk about luck, we were able to take care of the order transaction over a phone call and a couple of emails. He already had measurements for all the windows, so he didn't need to go to the house. He placed the order, then called me about 10 days later, exactly one day before the closing on our new home to tell me that the blinds were in...meaning that they were ALREADY INSTALLED! This is the best experience that I have ever had with a contractor and I have Angie's List and Brad Lewis to thank for! He came to our home, took all measurements, made recommendations on color and style to meet our aesthetic and budgetary needs, and was very flexible, patient and helpful. He installed the window treatments on two occasions, since they arrived in two separate shipments. When we had a post-installation question, he came out the same day.
