Don't Go!!!!! 6/8/2004

A group of 5 of us went to Brother's on my friend's birthday and we were treated terribly! (to put it lightly) At closing time the bartender told us we could finish our last drinks and game of pool, but then proceeded to push in all of the remaining balls right as my friend was taking her shot and took away the drinks we had paid for. When we asked why we couldn't finish (because they had told us we could), the only response they would give us was, ""Leave Now or Else!"" We were by no means being rude, loud, or offensive and it was barely after 2:00. Even before this incident, the service was horrible! We will never return. P.S. If you're in this area, go across the street to Drinks! A $2 cover, but drinks are only $2.50 and a great atmosphere! Cons: , Cost, Parking more

Fun Place 6/2/2004

I've never seen a downtown bar run absolutely great drink specials like Brothers. Even when there's a concert or event at the Target Center, they encourage their specials. Meanwhile every other bar is either not running any specials or they're jacking up their prices. What a fun bar. It's got something for everyone. Horrible 4/21/2003

I've gone to Brothers a few times in my life, however it only takes one bad night to prevent me from returning. Word to the babyface girl bartenders: You're not the hottest bartender in a NY club, the attitude isn't cool here. You could've served four people in the time you took being selective about your customers. And you better hit the drink books - club soda does NOT go in a topshelf vodka martini. Good on tuesdays, otherwise don't bother 12/16/2002

The only redeeming quality of Brothers is the Tuesday night special: $1.50 for anything on tap. It's great to enjoy expensive beers on the cheap while watching morons pay 3.50 for a bottled Bud Light they could get for $2 less in a pint. On any other night of the week, this bar SUCKS! It's a meat market, full of stuck up 20 somethings being gawked at by greasy 40 somethings waiting for drunk women to talk to them. If you want to look at fake ambience, wait 15 minutes for a beer, and listen to cheesy music with no possibility of dancing, the n this is the bar for you. Brothers Best 11/30/2002

Brothers is a great local bar in downtown a block away from the Target Center, in the heart of the Warehouse District. The bar has a huge selection to alochol, one of the best in the district, and great, friendly bartenders. There are lots of cool people, especially on the weekend, as well as pool and darts to play, and a dance floor. They have daily specials as well as Happy Hour everyday, with 2 for 1 specials on all drinks and beer. Can't beat this place for a good time! Where The College Kids Go 11/23/2002

Brothers is a place where you'll definitely see a line of people under 25 trying to get inside on a Friday or Saturday night. But once inside have fun trying to find a place to stand where you wont have your drink spilled. You'll need even better luck trying to get to the bar to get a drink. Not a bad place to stop if you're bar hopping, but don't plan on making an evening of this place. They have a dance floor but it's tiny and only used by the drunk girls who used to be noticed in High School but aren't in college. If you want to see a bunch of drunk college age guys who need to get really wasted so they can do grown up things like grab passing girls asses, and use lines like, 'So, do you come here often?', then this is your place. I'm sure you can find some real winners here. more

OK If you like crappy service 10/5/2002

The service here was horrible. I waited 10 minutes for a drink (while getting passed by several times) and once the bartender was standing in front of me I ordered. She then said with attitude ""Did I ask for you order? Just for that you get skipped"" I went to another bartendender, got served quickly and he apologised for the other bartenders attitude. That was about the only positive it this bar. My friend also got overcharged from an advertised drink special (by the same bartender with the attitude) for his drink. The music was the same old predictable top 40 sort but the place was packed. All in all I left this bar with a sour taste in my mouth and would not go back. 2 for 1's, best deal in town 8/21/2002

Nothing fancy about this college crowd bar. Loaded with people for happy hour, two for ones. Probably the only thing good about the place. Food is average bar food. Servie can be hit or miss depending on the server you have that night. Gets super crowded till 7pm for HH. So crowded, you have no where to place your second drink down. Music selection is current Pop 40 music or the soundtrack to Abercrombie & Fitch. Good place to just hang out and get loaded cuz it's cheap. Limited TVs for sports and very smokey air. Pros: 2 for 1's, location, college crowd Cons: crowded, very smokey, limited TVs 4 sports more

Downstairs Delight!! 8/9/2002

As you walk in to the underground establishment, you notice it is quite dim and full of excitement and fun-filled atmosphere. The bartenders are hard working and the food there is exceptional. I would recommend it to anyone looking to mingle or have an evening of drinks with friends--great drinking establishment. Pros: location, weekly specials, young crowd Cons: too packed more

Great prices which seems to help the rest of downtown to get rid of their worst crowds. Either the young frat/sorority crowd or just plain cheap people inhabit this bar. Just funnel all the burbs, mullets and baseball hat wearing people here. Pros: inexpensive Cons: crowd, service, atmosphere more

I actually plan on becoming a bartender at one i enjoyed being there so much. the peopel are great, the atmosphere is awesome, and i have never met so many people at any other bar... it was a blast.
