Paper galore 12/27/2005

This store is so fun and unique! You need to visit it just to look around. They sell lots of fun paper for wrapping gifts. Ribbons and bows too. Getting married? They have stuff for that too. They have lots of fun gift items you won't find anywhere else. Store is roomy and things are displayed nicely. They even have things on clearance occasionlly for us bargain hunters. Located downtown they are worth the trip into the "city". Who wants the same old stuff when you can be different and make the wrapping part of your gift also. more

191 N Broadway Milwaukee, WI 53202 414-277-7699 Retail Store - specialty paper products As a designer and paper artist, I appreciate the wonderful papers that one can find here - but I'm just not crazy about the prices. Don't get me wrong - it's a fun store to explore! Tons of neat stuff and the building itself along with the store layout is eye candy - just go elsewhere if you have a detailed project and you need lots of material. This store is so . . . . pretty. It seems to me that I spent LOTS more money at their old location. Really enjoyed and do miss that place (and the sales and the prices!) more

Giant Paper Store 8/15/2005

Basically anything paper-related that you would want can be found here, from any kind of invitation, greeting card or stationary to professional invitations and announcements to all the supplies for do-it-yourself projects. If you're into scrapbooking or stamping or that sort of thing, I would think they have a good amount of supplies for those hobbies as well. The staff is helpful and friendly. They do wedding invites, etc. and seem to have some people on staff who specialize in that. This is a really big store and you could spend a lot of time perusing the huge inventory. It's in the Third Ward in a great renovated building. Shopping or browsing there is not a bad place to pass some time. more

Excellent paper store for crafters, scrapbookers, etc. 8/12/2005

I first found Broadway Paper when I was looking at various papers to create some invitations. The store is located on Broadway and Chicago down in the Third Ward. Their selection is awesome, they have all types and sorts of papers, paper punches, cards, cardstock, ribbon, etc, etc. They also have a wide array of books to look through - either to order straight from them, or to get ideas to create your own. Their prices are a bit higher than I was able to find on the internet, but then again seeing the real thing in front of you in the store is better than buying on the internet. more

Learn the art of hand lettering, making a card box, creative journaling, paper folding and more. You can pick up all of your party supplies... paper plates, napkins, candles and placemats.. all original, all matching. If it has anything to do with paper you can find it here. The staff is courteous and helpful and offers design help. more
