Editorial review from Citysearch 7/8/2014

WARNING - DO NOT USE\r \r Did you ever see the TV show Holmes on Homes? He goes over the work of unsatisfactory contractors. Most of the stories are about unsavory characters with fancy show rooms that lure in unknowledgeable consumers, sign them up, then subcontract the actual work out to anyone whether they can hammer a nail or not. \r \r That's EXACTLY what Broadway Kitchens & Bath does. My friend hired them, and Jeff Chinmen (BWKB's owner) never once showed up to review the progress. They had to bring in another contractor to finish the job properly. \r more

AVOID!!!! Rude and filthy. Check out their window display 2/9/2012

Seldom do I get a bug up my %^&* but this place is horrid. I was curious about some of the fixtures that initially drew me in but I had just come from getting my morning coffee and either they sized me up as having no money, or it was to early to want to deal with me. When I asked to speak to a manager the salesman told me he wasn't available and to come back. I won't and you shouldn't go either. On the way out I noticed how filthy this one tub was in the window and took a photo of it on my phone just in case anyone ever questions whether or not I'm just hating. Yuck. more

Love My Bathroom 10/6/2011

Thank you so much for all of the help and guidance you gave me in selecting the incredible bathroom fixtures for the master bathroom in our new beach house. Will definitely be back soon when it's time to renovate the kitchen. more

Worst experience ever! 10/3/2011

My husband and I are in the process of renovating 2 of the three bathrooms in our 2400 square foot apartment. We were also looking to replace one of the cabinets in our kitchen. Once the salesperson (the proprietress?) heard that we were looking for one cabinet she said point blank that she would not sell us one cabinet and flat out refused to help me any further. She proceeded to ignore me and when I mentioned that we needed other things as well that we were planning to buy there if she were a little more flexible on the cabinet thing she said ""I don't have time"". What kind of business is that? Honestly, I am born and raised in NYC and have NEVER experience such rudeness from a salesperson in my life before. I for one, will be purchasing my bath and kitchen fixtures elsewhere, where the customers needs matter. more

A STANDING OVATION 4/18/2011

Being a professional singer who travels often it was very important to have the execution of my kitchen renovation be as close to perfect as possible. The team at Broadway Kitchens and Baths was wonderful and made me feel completely at ease. From the designers to the construction crew everything was performed with the utmost care and concern. Their combined knowledge and experience made the entire process a joy. I now look forward to coming back from a long tour and relaxing in my beautiful kitchen. Many Thanks to all . more

I may not cook much, but my kitchen looks great 3/12/2011

I have a really small kitchen, guess that happens when you live in the city. I needed to use every inch. Fran helped me pick ""space"" saving appliances, and designed the cabinets, so we could use every bit possible. The construction part was great too. Fran says she worries enough for both of us. I knew I was in great hands. I may not cook in it much, but my kitchen looks great more

Great Job 3/1/2011

I decided to redo my kitchen early last year and was lucky enough to be recommended by a co-worker to Broadway Kitchens and Bath. Their installer Voytek was professional, efficient and conscientious of the cleanliness of the job since I had to live in my apartment during construction. The result matched my expectations. Highly recommended. more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND 2/25/2011

What a nightmare! Dealing with Scott the ""designer"" was the worst experience. He was so unorganized. He had the change things numerous times. He didn't listen to anything we said. He was just winging everything. So unprofessional. He kept blaming his worker but the worker had to keep redoing everything because Scott wouldn't listen. If I could find the worker I would use him but we will NEVER use Broadway again. He is full of excuses. more

I love My Kitchen!!! 2/18/2011

I love my kitchen!!! Working with Al was a pleasure. He's a consummate professional. He was very patient and helped to guide me through the process of getting me my dream kitchen. His vast knowledge of design and the materials required was a winning combination. Thanks Broadway Kitchens for a job well done. Next will be my bathroom. more

Broadway Kitchens great job 11/2/2010

We went to many showrooms and got no attention. Granted this was not a huge job. It is the biggerst job we ever did. A kitchen renovation is such a pain. There is just to many things to pick. Broadway kitchens helped me make good choices. more

Dream Kitchen 4/12/2010

Broadway Kitchens and Bath completed my kitchen about 5 years ago. Working with Fran, the designer was an absolute pleasure. She was able to interpret my vision, working through every detail to satisfy all of my needs as a serious cook and baker. Pros: Design and execution more

Re: My experience 8/11/2009

Planning and execution was a good experience, Fran was very helpful. I had issues with the tile instalation but problems have been solved. Pros: Nice kitchen cabinets Cons: Poor workmanship more

Broadway Kitchens thank you for help 1/12/2009

When I needed my kitchen redone, I visite many showrooms, and quite frankly no one would give me the time of day, since my job was less than 50k. At Broadway kitchens, they were very helpful. I picked out most things there, but they gave me the option to go elsewhere for some of my tile. They put me in touch with a place to buy applainces that gave me a great price. Pros: Finished my job and it looks great more

BE WARNED 10/2/2008

Although you might think from the Union Sq location and the smooth talking salesman, you would be in professional hands...BE WARNED. Nobody will be managing your job, weeks go by with nobody showing up, excuses excuses excuses. Our 3 week job is still not even half done and it's been over a month. Oh and last but certainly not least- you would think a place that specializes in bath and kitchen's would be able to put tile in straight. Our tiles came pre attached to mesh sheets and still were not straight. Sloppy, expensive, undependable. Pros: Salesman is very helpful..before the job starts Cons: After the job starts- no workers, no manager, no quality of work more
