Oh the Pru. The funny thing about it is that it's connected to Copley Place, which is much more lavish and out of most people's price range. Though the Pru side is a bit more affordable, both areas kind of give up the wealthy, upper-class vibe. The more affordable stores located in the Pru include Aldo, Arden B, The Body Shop, Sephora, and a few others. It also contains a food court (filled with your everyday fast food chains) and restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, Wagamama, and Legal Sea Foods (but then there's also the super swanky and super overpriced Top of the Hub and the Skywalk, but those are pretty much reservation only). If you'd like to venture over the brigeway thingy and into Copley Place, you'll find more upper scale stores like designer brands Louis Vuitton and Gucci (among many others) and also pricey (but totally worth the splurge) restaurants like Osushi and Turner Fisheries. Either way, come here with a wad of money or prepare to be let down. Unless of course you like aimlessly window shopping, that's fine too, and the outside area is beautiful on a warm day.
Pros: great place to visit if you like looking preppy
Cons: you better look the part or else prepared to get stink eyed!
