poor service 11/26/2011

I went to this place once by myself. There wasn't a host so I seated myself at a booth. I would guess the restaurant was 1/3 full, nowhere near crowded. I sat for 15 minutes and nobody waited on me. Plenty of staff walked past my table with no place setting and no drink in my hand. I went to the bar to order my beer and was ignored. After a while longer I left deciding to go elsewhere. I called from my cell phone just to let them know that they might be able to improve in the future. I asked to talk to the manager but was told he couldn't come to the phone because they were so busy. Ah, I was just there and you're not busy. Sorry, haven't been back. more

Maybe I'm Just too Old... 10/25/2010

Location/building is very interesting and I spent some time wandering about looking here and there while waiting for our food to arrive. Service was very lacking, food was sub par and maybe I'm just getting too old but every huge TV had a different sport on with the volume turned all the way up. I found myself wishing I were home watching PSB or the Ourstory Channel.\r \r I won't be back. Good hang out for College Kids and near deaf sports fans with deep pockets. more

Brickyard is HIGHWAY ROBBERY! 6/13/2009

Don't go here if you want to drink, shots are in the $7 - $9 range, AND I measured the amount of liquid their shot glasses hold, AND ITS HALF A REG SHOT more

This is one of the premier sports bars in Lancaster City. The parking lot is somewhat hard to find but once you get into the bar area the selection is great and the food is good as well. The prices are higher but it is a very entertaining venue. more

BEST Sportsbar in Central PA 11/14/2008

Great Food. Plenty of TV's with all the games on. Try the Open Face Meatloaf Sandwich covered in gravy or a Cow and Pig Burger that the roll can't hold. The Nachos are huge and loaded. Great beer and drink specials. Save room for desert, they usually have a homemade ice cream. A friendly staff and plenty of free parking in the lot behind the building. A lot of fun events and a flat screen TV at your table. Gets crowded on game nights. Almost like being at a game with the crowd chanting and cheering Pros: wide selection of both food and beer. Also have a video game hook up for the kids Cons: May be tough to get a seat if a big game is on. more

Not What I expected 9/29/2008

I love the location of this place, an old warehouse feel located in beautiful downtown Lancaster, however once inside I changed my mind. It is clear customer service was not something any of there employee's keep in mind, our food was cold - but the hostess was to worried about her new text messages to come find that out.\r \r The whole place is slacking minus a few/ many new tv's for the sports games. Their website isn't helpful at all as it dates back to June for events, the bathroom propbably wasn't cleaned since then either, and the staff was worried about themselves. more

Time to step up to the plate 5/7/2008

After eating here last night 05/06/08, not happy at all. Very loud, with all of the competing TVs, and the hostess was more interested in hanging out with her friends then working. Over valued menu items. It disappoints what I first thought of the Brickyard when they opened. I love living downtown, but with everything going on in Lancaster the Brickyard needs to take a serious look at customer service. more

The Brickyard 1/31/2008

WHOAAHHHHAAHHH too many T.V.s. this takes "sports pub" to a whole new level. Over-the-tops in your face tv and kinda okay bar food. Overall not the best place in town to watch sports. more
