This is my favorite pizza place in Charlottesville. The pizza crust is amazing--chewy and crispy all at once--just the right thickness. The toppings are fresh. And the salad bar is definitely the best in Charlottesville--delicious homemade soups and rolls and very unique dishes on the bar, unlike your typical salad bar. For a casual lunch it is the BEST. more

Super salad bar terrible service 3/22/2008

Wow the difference between lunch and dinner !!! We went to the Brick Oven last night for dinner and what a bad choice that was. The service was well I hate to even call it service it was that bad. The sausage calzone was serviced cool and I asked to have mine warmed up which took ten minutes and was still cool ? We have eaten here before at lunch and had wonderful food and service and they were much more busy at lunch then they were at dinner last night . The manger refunded use $3.50 for 1/2 the calzone but didn't compensate us at all for the lousy service. I was very disappointed with the whole ordeal. Leah and Kevin Elliott 03/21/08 more

Great food! 4/7/2006

I love this place! The food is fantastic! This is the first place that I've ever had roasted garlic and a panini! I usually get a panini along with the salad bar. The salad bar has a good variety of vegetables and some cold pastas. There are usually a couple of soups available, too. The warm bread with roasted garlic spread on it is to die for. more

Pizzarific 8/8/2005

I have eaten here many times. The food is phenomenal. The soup/salad bar is big enough to make a meal by itself and makes a great compliment to the extraordinary pizza. There are tons of toppings available and many interesting chef created specialty pizzas. The staff is friendly and attentive and this is a very family friendly environment. more
