I went there in January on business travel and came down with confirmed food poisoning within 1.5 hours of eating my only meal in 10-11 hours before the symptoms. The food was mediocre at best, I had a flash fried seafood platter that was a little burned on the outside, a little rare on the inside and spent the whole night at the Marlborough emergency room. The restaurant has a cordial manager who informed me that they checked everything and a subsequent inspection by the health inspector showed nothing to be amiss, but I am here to tell you that I ate nothing, drank nothing during the day other than a can of diet coke that was not eaten by two other people (literally). The timeline fits. I will not be convinced it was not them. If you do not go to save yourself a possible case of food poisoning, do not go to save yourself from the mediocre food. There must be a better place to eat in Worchester, go find one and save yourself from ending up crouched over the toilet having vomiting and diahrrea at the same time which I did. It is not fun. Early evening great for the whole family. They often have different specials and change the menu frequently for different tastes. Pizza and classic Italian dishes are the largest orders. As the night goes on the Bar becomes two people deep thriving as one Highland streets night life makers. Across the street from the Sole Proprietor it is a legend to the older ages of Worcester and the new. Not just for night life either, great romantic feel for a lively restruant with dim lighting and great atmosphere. When i went there for one of my several times as a common date spot favorite, I was told my meal was on the house due to a kitchen backup, in which the back up was not even noticed, in which they took care of the problem before it would be noticed by the customer. Pros: ambience is great Cons: parking does fill quick along with sometimes a small wait. more
