Great Opening Night! 7/5/2003

The grand opening was last night. What a great time! Super drink specials, the food was darn good and the people were great. Looks like the new owner & GM are going to do great things with this place. Best of luck-I will be coming often! Pros: Free Parking!, Drink Prices, Nice Staff more

Whatz Happened? 3/4/2003

Wheres the liquor selection? Wheres the beer? Wheres the pool table? Wheres the great fries? Wheres the great food? This isn't like the Bourbon Street I used to come to. Sadly disappointed am I, I came to party, but you can't do it without some good booze people. On to the next bar! Pros: Their open, Seats aplenty, Glasses aplenty Cons: No parking, Bad Booze Selection, Bad Beer Selection more

Love this bar!!!!! It really does suck though that not many people show up every night. Try coming out on Wed. It always seems busy then... more

Lame Tuesday! 8/5/2002

For all those that know J, you know the night before the 24th rocked the spot. Thanks to the J for the party and Paul for letting us in. Although most left super drunk, what could be better for a party? You should do that again, but maybe on the weekend so us old people that have day jobs can come play. more

Good Times on Tuesday....Gone for good? 6/22/2002

Well it used to be cool to come out on Tuesday's "College Night"...but now it's like a ghost town in there! 5 people, made up of the staff and the DJ's friends, and that's it. To bad other clubs in town stole your "hip-hop" idea and offer cheap beer and cheaper shots. Did you forget to advertise? Hey DJ, doesn't it suck to play your beats for yourself? And the bartenders have to hate leaving with a $1 tip each tuesday night. I really liked coming out, but it's pretty boring to listen to blaring music and have no social interaction. I'd say I'm dissapointed, but I've replaced you. Miss ya, and I hope you miss the crowd. more

Comfy bar 6/13/2002

It's not upscale or fancy in any way, but this little State Street bar is comfortable, and the staff is friendly. The front windows let in plenty of light, so the bar doesn't feel like a cave--it's a casual and comfortable bar for after-work drinks. Pros: Night parking lot, Games Cons: So-so food more

Is the real bourbon street this dead 6/5/2002

Myself and a friend went to Bourbon Street last saturday and wow, dead. No one in the club at all. No qute witress, no more qute bartender, no band, no nothing. Saturday night, midnight, a big zero. I don't think New Orleans real Bourbon Street is ever like Salt Lake's wannabee. Pros: none Cons: No crowd, No Music, No Food more

Great afterwork bar 5/15/2002

This is a great place to go after work or during lunch for a quick beer and a sandwich. Good for sitting with three friends playing interactive trivia, too. I don't know if they still offer it, but don't get the cajun martini! Just don't do it. Pros: interactive trivia, good service Cons: smokey more

  • In Short
This club's clean, updated appearance sets it apart from other aging clubs on Main Street. Live music is the main draw, with a regular schedule of hip-hop and rock performers throughout the week, and artsy open-mic poetry night on Sundays. Although it lacks a dedicated dance floor, patrons seem to find a place to groove amid the bar's cozy seating and long aisles.
