To be fair, I was patronizing this restaurant before it was remodeled. It was always never that great to begin with, but now being back after the whole renovation, I can see that some things never change or improve.\r We sat outside along the street. The service here is TERRIBLE. Our waitress just fluttered about, took forever to bring us drinks, even a single drink someone in my party ordered, never checked up on us, etc. It was a disaster.\r To start we ordered the clam chowder and wings. First came the chowder which took a while to receive. It was very good, thick, had pretty nice clam chunks in it and reminded me of the kind they serve at Bonefish Mac's Sports Grille in Lighthouse Point which is a compliment. But what happened to the wings? We received them about a good 25 minutes after the chowders which was annoying. The wings were large and jumbo, had a good taste overall but even ordered hot, the sauce had a sweet taste to it which was off-putting.\r The main courses were overall a disappointment. I had the Key West Platter, which had a good amount of food: conch fritters, fish fingers, and shrimp. I will say that the quality of the fish fingers DRASTICALLY has improved, as the fish was flaky and all white for the most part. I didn't touch the odd plastic tiny container of some kind of coleslaw that looked like it was sitting under the heat lamp too long along with the rest of my food.\r WAY overpriced. My dinner was $18. I could go to Southport Raw Bar and get the same amount of food in a basket for only $9 instead. The service was very lackadaisical and apathetic, and SLOW like she was in la-la land and not focused on taking care of us. Once our food was received, my father had to physically GET UP himself to go get tabasco and mustard for the table. I heard the female bartender inside was rude to my dad as well and just shook her head when he asked her if they had the mixers to make a melontini for my mom here. Remodeled & RUINED, its a joke, & the service is going to scare everyone away. more

There are many other, much better options for dinner in Del Ray Beach. Had a burger, it was good, when I got the bill noticed a $2 up charge to swap out fries for broccoli. My girlfriend got a grouper sandwich the server recommended, it had absolutely no taste. She ate less than half of it. We told the server how unimpressed we were with the meal, she didn't seen to care at all. We definitely won't be going back. more

Not good. Stay away from the lobster Mac and Cheese. Definitely a tourist trap. more

Wow.... the lobster Mac and cheese is to die for. Creamy, infused with lobster and little crunchy parmesan cheese and bread crumbs on top. So delicious. Artichoke fondue dip with pita points is also good. Its a bar so its loud and service is sketchy. Drinks are "stiff" and not consistent bar to bar. Great location. We enjoyed the live music very much. more

OK, Boston's truly has the best spot on the strip, but the prices exploit. I ordered lobster and the portion was hardly enough for a meal.\r Great location, great people watching, but prepare to be overcharged. more

Had a lite dinner last night and the food was terrific but the prices were ridiculous. Beautiful restaurant with great views but the portions were very small and the prices were very large. The 2 of us had 3 appitizers and 2 drinks each and the bill before tip was $95!!!! Need to get the prices to be reasonable please. $13-14 dollars for a martini and the glass was not even filled to the brim and then give me excuses why they serve it that way? Come on folks even Seagate is cheaper! Rip off the locals and away we go view or no view. We are the ones who recommend where to go and where not to go and why. So remember that if you go here expect to pay a lot for a little. more

ewwwww! Had the stuffed shrimp. Tasted like frozen out of a box and definitely the worst thing I've eaten in a very long time. Very much regretted paying close to $20 for six of them plus a side. Will never eat here again. more

Enjoy it every time, of course the location is really great... who doesn't want to look at the ocean while eating and drinking foo-foos!!! Love the chowda and the lobstah roll! The only thing is that they should make their lobstah roll a little bigger for the price! more

We'd enjoyed great fish sandwiches at Boston's in 2008 and 2009 - how sad that the 2011 version was half the size as before, with eviscerated sides, for the same prices (after a very long wait for a table). We used to love this place. more

The view is great...unless you look at your plate. Nahh, it's not that bad actually. The food is okay, but's a fun place...and appeals to the tourist crowd. more

i dont eat in beach bars, but my girlfriend suggested we go to bostons last night...OK (keep in mind this is mid june=off season) we arrive @ 8:30, only to be told by the hostess "our kitchen is backed up/we cant serve you" ?? the entire front patio was empty. i looked inside and the bar was about half full? (sounds more like the staff wanted to go home early) going to bostons reminded me why i DONT go to beach bars. more

I am a Yankee fan, but they had great food, service, entertainment, but sadly Boston everywhere. I enjoy their atmosphere (only if there were Yankees establishments like this, I would be going there instead). more

Try the lobster bisque! 9/26/2003

Try the lobster bisque! It's among the best-ever! Outdoor seating is breezy right on the beach road. The view from the second floor is excellent. Atmosphere is casual and the food is good. Happy hour ends before you know it, so drink-up! Pros: Outdoor seating, Lobster bisque, Ocean breeze Cons: Street noise outside more

Casual eats on the beach 2/9/2003
