I've been to there a few times and never had anything but superior service. Staff is friendly, food is great, and their ice cream treats are well worth the trip.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! It';s a great family owned business set in the 50's era. Its a great atmosphere, good prices and great food. Had their new tomato soup made by a new cook and it was just amazing you can taste the freshness, the kids loved the never ending fries and their milk shakes are the best in town hand down. we love coming here as a small family or for our group functions. we would recommend this local family owned business to anyone!!! more

Horrible and processed food! Nothing could be fresh and taste that bad. Owner was rude and would not honor the representations of her employees. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. While the decorations on the walls are nostalgic, that doesn't make up for bad food and the owner. I try to support local businesses, but this was just awful. Won't waste my money there ever again. Yikes! more

Never ever again/. My HOA had a meeting there. When the room was booked they were told that everyone probably wouldn't be eating. Most were elderly folks. We were told that there would not be a problem. There was a employee that did make a note on the paper work.\r The food was not good. For me 2 orders of fries and both were cold. No tomatoes?? Seriously?? Burger place that doesn't have tomatoes. And they are right next to a new Wal-Mart neighborhood store. The folks that did eat were forced to pay immediately. Talk at tacky. They made people feel like they thought we were going to dine and dash. We were forced to pay a tip.\r When our meeting was over our board president was hit with a $200.00 bill. We were charged $10.00 for each person that didn't eat. The board member and management company folks were standing there. The president was talking to the rest of us to get the approval to pay when the owner came into the room and pointed to her watch and said we were past our 2 hours and it was going to be cost us $25.00 a hour more. I found her to be very rude. She refused to honor the adjustments that her employee wrote to the paperwork or even consider some other agreement. Before the meeting started the pres. did go in and confirm that we would not be charged the extra charges. \r A lot of people did eat. Some at least had ice cream. We didn't expect to have a meeting there for free. But what they pulled was terrible. I will make sure that even our monthly lunch bunch never goes back there again. We have 106 units. I will make sure everyone knows what happened more

Boppin Bo's......... If you want one of thier burgers nuke a frozen patty on a stale bun, then add fake cheese. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with swiss and it wasn't even real swiss lol. Old fashioned? Bwahahaha. The french fries are FRESH! Fresh out of the bag!......... and the milkshakes over sweetened Hersheys Syrup and cheap vanilla which is somehow foamy...... Oh and the Ketchup? Something you find at a cheap chinese restaurant. Bopping Bo's couldn't hit an authentic 50's diner with an atom bomb. They have missed the mark. I would rather eat a 7-11 Rat burger. Nothing is fresh, nothing is homemade, I don't even think they offer malts...... 50's my katushy......the only thing from the 50's is the smell. So go to Boppin Bo's for a goold old fashioned RIP OFF! The good thing is that the only thing that sucks more than the food is the service, no no....it's the price!! more

Bad service 5/16/2011

Good burgers. Bad service!!! Ladies love to talk to each other 3 walked by my table when pop was empty even my so called server. never refilled. I do like going to these places you don't need to tip. Great service don't mind leaving $5.00 tip. NOT going to tip for person showing up to work. more

Yuck 11/12/2010

We went to Boppin Bo's on Veteran's Day--they didn't accept Payback Book coupon because it was a holiday. OK, but the hamburger was cold. Then I went into the restroom--never seen such a dirty one EVER! more

MMMMMM BURGERS 11/20/2009

Finally tried it a while back as a take out order and I was pissed that I had taken so long to do so. Sometimes Fast Food burgers just don't cut it and shoot you spend just about the same amount of money at McDonalds anyways....why not get a real burger. I loved it and plan to go there for family gatherings in the future. Pros: BIG BURGERS AND LOTS OF FRIES more

Never again!! 6/9/2009

I had a problem with my order, instead of trying to correct it, they blamed it on ME!! I wasn't happy with the food the first time I went, but tried it again. That will be my last time!! The manager is horrible to deal with!! Pros: None! Cons: Bad service & food!! more

Never had a Burger there I didn't like - Try The Duke with a fried-egg on top! Cute waitresses 8/26/2008

Jukebox blasting out your favorites, red metal-flake vinyl upholstery, cute, bobby-socked pony-tailed waitresses. From Marilyn to Elvis and the 3 Stooges on the walls. Trivia questions on the table while you're waiting. Pros: Food and ambience. Plenty of parking Cons: Not always as quick as I would like more

Seems like a rip-off 6/16/2008

They claim that a lot of the food is ""homemade"", but a lot of it is from a box with a few things added. They also wrote one of their own reviews. Altogether it is and okay place to eat occassionally if you like waiting and eventually dying of complications caused by obesity. Some of the staff are great and make the visit enjoyable, but others are not. more

great trip down nostalgia lane 5/20/2008

Driven by Boppin Bo's many times and finally went in. Charmed by the memorabilia and the '50's feel. Service was fine. What's not to like? We ordered a regular hamburger and a 2 beef patty bo-dacius burger. Good buns. The burgers were way overcooked and there was no beef taste. I stopped eating because I got tired of chewing. Also, no self-respecting '50's hamburger has shredded lettuce! Best hamburger we've ever eaten is Pie 'n Burger in Pasadena. Anytime we're within 2 hours of Pasadena, we make the trip. Pros: great ambience and a place for families Cons: the hamburgers more

best service anywhere 8/27/2006

They are great there, 50's look, personal friendly service, lots of retro gifts to buy while waiting to be seated or to look at on the way out. They helped me put together a gift basket for two different birthday parties. They were patient and even checked on delivery times of new items so I could come back and complete the gift sets. They played with my four year old so I could shop uninterupted and for that alone they deserve medals and pensions! The food is out of the midwest 1950's drive in genre. Good, sinful and worth every calorie that slides onto your hips. Highly recommend. Pros: food, service, pricing Cons: too small! needs to have more room for parties! more

Best Ice Cream and Burgers anywhere!!! 7/18/2006

I have never had a shake or malt that tasted soooo good. They make them the old fashioned way with real hard ice cream and serve them in a tin which fills your tall shake glass up twice! The waitresses dress in fifties attire and they are the friendliest in town! It is our favorite burger hangout! I have never been dissappointed in anything I have ever ordered. They also serve a country style breakfast. We often get their breakfast special which is 2 eggs, hashbrowns and toast for only $2.99.. What a deal and a full breakfast!! All the menu items have names from the fifties, the juke box always plays and their is a train that travels from room to room. Their new party rooms also has dancing. Great for the kids, who get their meals served in a fifties car that they can take home. The owners are always there and glad to have you share in their 30 year dream. They even serve elephant ears!!! If you want great food, fun atmosphere, wonderful service and a blast from the past, I would highly recommend Boppin' Bo's! Pros: awesome food, decor, memorabilia Cons: hard to decide what to order, everything is so good more

OK -- if you like you ice cream melted 8/3/2005

I have been to Boppin' Bo's a couple of times. Everytime I have had terrible service and very poor quality of food. The wait staff is usually too wrapped up in personal conversations to be bothered with customers. Even when we stopped by for just french fries and ice cream they dished up the ice cream and let it sit on the counter melting for 10 minutes before they brought it to us. Most recently when paying the check I told them it was the most horrible experience I had ever had there, the cashier just looked at me blankly as she rang up my check and never uttered a word. I felt as if I was interupting them. Pros: Old time look Cons: Food, Service more

Great Burgers!! 8/14/2004

Boppin Bo's starts with great burgers. Service is very fast and friendly. The decor is set up to look like an old soda fountain with pictures of Elvis, James Dean and old cars. Also, in the cash register area is a large assortment of old candies; very nice touch! With all the ho hum burger chain food out there, it is great to see these owner's dream coming true! (Check the back of the menu for their story.) Pros: Great burgers, Friendly service more
